So I bought four of these skirts a couple of months back in a size 2X. I’m an 18 and they fit great. I love them, they are gorgeous. So I decided to come back and buy some other patterns. I bought this skirt in a 2x and it was way smaller, so I returned it and ordered another one. I assumed it was just mismarked. However, the second 2x I got was still too small so I returned that one and decided to get a 3X, but guess what? It’s the exact same size as the 2x!! I compared it to the others I had previously ordered and you can see from my pictures that this one is at least an inch smaller than the black one and it’s marked as one size larger! I then laid it on top of the purple one and stretched the waistband of the white one. Compared to the white one you can see it has several inches less stretch. Remember too the black, purple, and white are all 2x and this one is a 3x! Not sure what’s going on here but I won’t be buying any more of these skirts unfortunately. The pattern was pretty though and the first return was quick and easy, hence the 2 stars.

Im writing this because I was fairly unsure when buying this skirt. I had been stuffed by companies before that seem to good to be true, and usually are. I would say this skirt falls somewhere in the middle. While it is clear that it is cheaply made, it still truly has a wow effect. I wore it to a wedding and received compliments all night. That being said, it was smaller than it should have been and and see through. I ordered a large and it fit like a small/medium. I was able to make it work high wasted, but it was tough to get it over my hips. The fabric is also very cheap and had to be ironed which took FOREVER. Just know you get what you pay for, so dont expect luxury, but it is very pretty on.

This is a very pretty skirt, soft and flowy. On the size 3xl I received, the skirt is about 39" long, with a white underskirt that stops about 8" from the bottom. Length is very nice, and since the waist is elastic you can move the skirt to sit higher or lower around your waist to adjust the length. There is a light blue ribbon around the waist, its just decorative, you cant use it to make the skirt tighter or looser. At the waist my skirt was 18" across or 36"around, if you stretched it, it would go to about 28"across or 56" around. The skirt is pretty colors of blue with highlights of white and pink, a flowery pattern, in a chiffon like material. I liked the overall look and think his skirt would look great wearing it with a white shirt to make it casual or a white blouse for a dressier look.

A bit too long unless you wear a bit of a raised shoe. I am planning some dressy flip flops with this for a cruise. It is a very pretty skirt, and fits nicely. An XL fits me perfectly and I am a pants size 12/14. The waistband would not be comfortable for someone of a larger size, because its a bit tight on me.
