We purchased a navy skirt before school started in the fall. She loved it and she wore it alternatively with other skirts she had already. That first skirt has been her favorite. That skirt was getting a bit short & I tried this brand because it appeared to be longer. This small was much too big in the waist & because it is made of soft draping t-shirt knit it didnt stay up as it was. It was longer but also MUCH wider than her favorite. So I decided I would wash it to see if it would shrink any. It did a bit but not enough. I had to take in the waist about 2 inches on each side. She making it work but I will not purchase any more. It also shows creases, so really needed to be iron after I washed it. Where as the first skirt from the fall travels really well. Goes in her sports bag after school and when she pulls that one out it doesnt need any ironing.

I loved the length and fit of this skirt. The material was soft as well. I would recommend this brand of skirt

The color fit the description the hem hangs well below the knee. Fit well at the hip , waist too small. Nice material for warm weather.

There is no elastic, per se, no belt or sash to tie. I have to use my own sash under the waist to hold up the skirt. I only held onto it, rather than return it, as it has been difficult to find a skirt in this style.
