Love this skirt so much. I have a similar skirt (from another seller) in a different pattern. I deducted one star as the skirts fabric is a little see-through on the white part. That said, it will be an excellent summer skirt, I will just have to make sure to wear a slip or nude undergarments. While the pleats are annoying to iron, it wasnt as miserable as some reviewers let on (and this was my first time ironing pleats!). As for the fit, a medium fit be wonderfully. I dont know my exact measurements, but I am 56", and fluctuate between 140-150lbs, with a somewhat athletic build. The medium fits me very comfortably as a high-waist skirt (as it is intended to be). If I lose weight, I could see where a medium may be a smidge too big, but think it would still fit nicely if paired with a cinch-waist belt. Plus, it comes with two different buttons at the top of the zipper closure, allowing you to make it a tiny bit tighter if need be.

Very cute skirt and has pockets! I ordered a small and had a bit of extra room in the waist when I wore the skirt at my true waist. I hemmed the skirt to make it a mini skirt otherwise the skirt was below my knee at 53". In the photo I am wearing a crinoline underneath to make the skirt a bit more poofy. I would recommend this skirt. Very comfortable.

I usually wear a size 12/14 pants, my waist is 33", and I bought the large. If it had a little elastic piece it would have fit perfectly. However its a tad loose and sits a little lower than where I want and gets even more loose throughout the day. Its not too bad, may try a medium next time. Would recommend based on quality of material and stitching. Will be buying more!

I’ve purchase several pleated skirts from other vendors on Amazon, and they’re usually of decent quality. I haven’t noticed much variation from brand to brand, so I wasn’t expecting much from this skirt. The reason it caught my eye was the lovely green plaid pattern, as most of my other skirts are solids. Even upon taking this item out of the package, I was pleasantly surprised by the heavy weight of the fabric. I was hoping I’d be able to wear this skirt with tights as the weather gets colder, and I have no doubt I’ll be wearing this often as the temperature drops. It’s very well constructed with wonderful deep pockets, and the fit is pretty good. I ordered an XL but probably could have gone with a large, though it’s not a big enough difference that I feel the need to exchange it. I highly recommend this company’s skirts. Mine looks much more expensive than it was. I can’t wait to order a few more.
