I am 52 135-140 pounds and the medium fits great. If I was at the store I would have tried on a size small (I dont wear size small normally because my hips are wide, but this skirt allows plenty of room). Its not snug at all. It is however, a lot longer than I thought it would be. Its about 7 inches below my knee. Its very roomy, and you can roll the waist down to make it shorter but Im not sure if it will stay rolled down or not. Its a very soft material but not cotton - so I will never put it in the dryer. I actually bought this skirt for summer yardwork because I dont wear shorts - its a great price. Might have to order another color for a work skirt! EDIT: I have accidentally put this in the dryer twice now. It did not shrink at all.

It seems a little large, not enough I would want to go a size down - but is true to picture and description. It might be best in mildly warm climates. It did not cling but it sure wrinkled horribly and showed sweat lines after a 40 minute car ride on a Southwest afternoon. Looking like I had slept in it was not the fashion statement I was trying to make......... A slip is a must-have with this skirt, see through or not.

This skirt is exactly what I was looking for! I had a similar black midi skirt from another manufacturer, which after a few years ended up having some small holes so had to be thrown away. I was very sad, and ever since Ive been looking for a similar one as it was one of those pieces of clothing I wore the most. It looks like I finally found the right one! First of all, the skirt is true to size. I wear size 14-16 in pants and the XL fits perfectly (as is very stretchy, the L might have been fine too, but I like how this is not very tight on my wide hips and falls freely). The length is great as well, I can adjust the waist a bit, but worn on my natural waistline it just covers my knees (Im 57). The fabric is light, but not very see through - it will be nice to wear in the summer. It is a little wrinkled after coming out of the package, but looking at the fabric it will wash fine and the wrinkles will more or less even out. What I really like about the style is that I can dress it up or down, as I see fit, it is a classic that never goes out of fashion. I can wear this with flip-flops and high heels, its perfect for running errands, and its perfect for the office too. Im very happy with this purchase and I recommend the skirt to anyone looking for a simple, comfortable classic midi skirt. I received this product at a discount in exchange for my fair and unbiased review. If my opinion changes in any way in the future, I will make sure to post an update.

The white skirt looks like a 1/2 slip, my husband thought I was not finished getting dressed when I had it on. Im about 5 8" and the length is not right for my height it falls in the middle of the knees. I might use it as a slip in the winter.

I dont like this skirt. There is no way I can wear it to work and feel confident, even if I paired it with a good slip. It is extremely thin and feels like it would get stretched out easily. If the skirt were thicker or made of a better material it would be a better fit to size but being so thin and stretchy-it feels huge. I am between a medium and large, so I ordered a medium and it is way too big. This material would be better for a loose swimsuit cover-up​, not for something that is designed to stay around your waist.
