.....they arent. This was clearly a size M. It was too tight where your bellybutton. The size and measurements should have fit but it didnt so I gave it to my mother. It was then that I notice just how thin the material is. I love the No Iron aspect of this shirt but it is a summer skirt and it is now summer, she should be able to wear it without a slip. I swear the manufacturers of most of these Sell Em Cheap and dont offer any refunds or a new and/or different one. Sigh. I swear that this is the last item that will be a rip off for me. Hint: This material is so thin you can see through it. If you find a sleeve or some folds on a garment, look really carefully. I can see light through part of the folds. Some makers/sellers use Photoshop to retouch them. Just like they do models and what ever else they want to look pretty. I know because I teethed on the film industry. I cant practice what I preach against but I dont. Reminds me of my grandpa saying, "Just because you can, doesnt mean you should." He would wait a bit to see if you were listening, he was a preacher, then he would give a bit of a Ahummm and say, "And just because you did and you shouldnt have, look into your soul and ask yourself if you will or wont again." Not too complicated eh?

I love the skirt. I have ordered from this brand before. I specifically ordered from this brand again. The only thing is I have never ordered one of their skirts. I knew it would be the same material and I absolutely love the feel of it. Its extremely soft material. It also is extremely stretchy and nice and thin so you dont get hot in the summer. The only complaint I have is that its a little too big. I never go smaller then a large or extra-large usually and even though the reviews for the skirt said that it runs a little big I get nervous and stick with the normal size as I buy. I wish I had listened to the reviews though. It fits its just it could be a little bit tighter. The one other thing I love about the skirt and the company is no matter what you buy you can wear it for an occasion where you need to dress up or dress down.

I first bought this in black & loved it so much I bought this gray one. They are casual skirts & go well with flip flops or sandals, tank tops or t-shirts. The fabric is extremely soft & comfortable. It fits as expected. While the fabric is thin, the black and gray are not see-through. These get every day use around the house, out to eat & running errands. They are perfect for the hot summer weather. I love the black & gray so much I ordered the taupe and lilac as well. I will probably order a back up black and more colors later. The only thing I didnt like was the tag in the back. It seemed extra scratchy. If these were tagless, they would be perfect. My stitch ripper was able to remove the tag in less than 3 minutes, so now its so much more comfortable for me.

Let me preface the review of the actual item by saying that mine was two days late (I have free two day shipping) and they sent the wrong color (mint instead of coral). I usually do not review anything but the item, but just wanted to make note of those things. As for the item itself, it did indeed fit small. I have similar skirts (some knee length, some maxi skirts) in XL that fit much looser than this one did. I would say it fit more like a large. The material was also very see-through (at least in the mint color) and rather than being a nice cool feeling jersey, it seemed like it would be hot rather than breathable (not sure how else to explain how the fabric feels). If you do order this skirt, I suggest ordering a size up. I may try again with the next size up but the material itself was quite a turn-off.

This is a great skirt. It is not see through as some of the other reviewers have noted. It is think, but it is a summer skirt. It does go down to my knees so it is appropriate for family gathering and possibly work on a casual Friday. I am 57 180lbs and I ordered a Large. I will definitely be folding over the top. For the price this is a great buy. I received this item at a discount for my honest opinion. All opinions are my own and are not influenced by the discount.
