Several reviews said these skirts were "true to size" and I agree IF you go by the 8-10, 12-14, etc. Going by the measurements is very misleading. According to the measurements, I needed an XL, but the medium fit me just fine, as I normally wear an 8. Also, several reviews said these skits didnt fit women with curves/hips very well, but as someone with both, I disagree. It fits me just fine. I love this skirt and cant wait to wear it next week when I head out for Vacation!

I was thinking since I have a smaller waist I should order a size down since the skirt wraps around. I was able to put it on, but it was on the end of the velcro. So I returned it and ordered my normal size. In my opinion this skirt is definitely made to wear lower. Wearing it lower does NOT make it uncomfortable and actually is a good thing since I only have to size up on my upper hip area and not my waist. The skirt is adorable, the fabric hangs beautifully. Also, Im short (5 2"), so wearing it below my waist the Length 1 is really perfect. I tried the Length 2 and felt it was a little long for what I was looking for.

This is a great cover-up! I wore it everyday at the pool & beach during a trip to Cancun. I bought the medium & it fit me now as a size 10. I generally go to an 8 or even a 6 during the summer & I can see that it will adjust enough for all sizes. Im 53" and wore this most of the time but I would wear the longer version to restaurants in the evening since Im 70 years old. If I were younger I would wear it everywhere.

Really liked this skirt at the beach and even took it tubing! The pocket in the inside is perfect for credit cards, ID’s and cash but make sure to remove those items if you plan on wearing it in the water. You can’t really tell it’s a swim coverup when paired with a fitted T-shirt. Wore it all day. Ordered another one already!

I have this cover-up in both black and the "blush bestrewn" color in this length, and in an aqua color in the longer length. Absolutely love almost everything about these cover-ups in either length & highly recommend (Ive tried many types of cover-ups over the years, because I want my upper thighs covered.) Im 53", 124 lbs., and a small fits me just right. A note that the "blush bestrewn" color appears very pink in the pictures, but it is NOT; it is a very orange coral. I was hoping it would be more pink than it was, so I may return it. The only bone I have to chew with the rip skirt design at all is probably something that couldnt be changed without sacrificing its wonderful versatility: the velcro. I actually wear these in the water, and if the wave action in the ocean is strong at all, it will tear your rip skirt right off (its happened to me and I barely managed to catch it and re-fasten it while standing in waist-high strong surf--that was a little embarrassing as I definitely had an audience). If the closure were with two buttons, or with a strong hook and eye or something, the waves couldnt pull this off. But I realize that the velcro makes this fit a huge range of waists in each size and also most people probably wouldnt actually wear this into strong waves as I did. It is a fantastic cover-up as it is and overall probably the best Ive found (provided of course you have swim bottoms underneath it).
