RipSkirt Hawaii - Length 2 - Quick Wrap Cover-up That Multitasks as The Perfect Travel/Summer Skirt

First review I have ever written... Have never been inspired to write a review before now. I freaking love these skirts! The fabric is awesome, with just the right amount of stretch, no cling, hangs great. I was worried about the fit over my pear shaped bum, but it hangs beautifully. Im 54" and weigh 145 (61 years old), so coverage is called for. I bought a short (original) style skirt in Large to wear after swimming, with my swimsuit. Fits great at my hips. LOVE that I dont have to step into it and that it doesnt get "soggy butt" with a wet suit underneath! Looks cute and sporty, not like an old lady swimdress. So, I bought a version 2 longer skirt to wear when I am not at the pool. I got a Medium, which I wear a bit higher at my waist with tee shirts. Amazingly, it also fits great! I am dangerous at this point... I may keep buying more! Questions I had before I bought: I am not a size 6 with straight hips, will it work on my curvy body with a big bum? YES! Works fine, hangs just right. Is there enough overlap to sit at the pool, or will it pull open and expose what I am trying to keep covered? NO PROBLEM, both versions are fine when sitting. What about length? Will it cover enough? Too much? I find the short skirt, worn at my hips to be cute and the right coverage for me. Younger women may prefer shorter, but I love it. The longer skirt is too long on my short frame IF I wear it at my hips, but from my waist it falls a couple inches above my knee and looks just right. I agree with the previous post that suggested to put the fuzzy (vs scratchy) side of the velcro facing out; some of my shirts snag on it just a bit. Ok, so I love the "concept" but not necessarily the "execution" of this product. Im 57 and typically wear a 16 in bottoms. I ordered the XL which says fits 16-18 BUT this was so small on me the only way I could get the Velcro to line up and stick was if I hiked it WAY up on my waist....so, ok, I can work with this maybe I thought. Wore it yesterday and it kept coming undone. Too small for me I guess. Totally love the idea of it though. Makes me sad.

This skirt is wonderful! I purchased it to wear to a CHVRCHES concert since it matched my top perfectly. Im 56", 130 lbs. I wear a size 6-8 normally, purchased the med size 8-10. Couldve gone with the size small as it is a bit roomy, but I just wear it below my belly button, lower on my hips and it helps. The skirt hits me just above my knees, which is cool, but I prefer a below the knee skirt. The back of the skirt is cut different than what I expected, not a bad thing, I just dont know how to describe it, it kind of makes the skirt fan out and flow a little better. If you can take a look at a pic of the back towards the bottom. I really cant complain I rocked it and got tons of compliments. Its super comfy and secure Didnt test it out in any water, I just wore it on a humid TX night, didnt make me sweaty, it kept me cool n dry for a fun night out to listen to an awesome band! Amazing Amazon does it again got the skirt in 2 days with Amazon Prime... Couldnt be happier!

This skirt is so comfortable! It is adjustable via velcro closure to wear as you wish. The skirt sits a little higher on me, alas - I am not as slim as the pictured model. This length -2- sits about 2 inches above my knees at 56". It is a bit higher in the back, because my hind end is not tiny. I am roughly a size 14-16, and ordered this in an XL. It is plenty roomy. The material has very little "give", but it fits loosely enough that it isnt a problem. I would love to see this company offer a 3rd length, perhaps 2 inches longer for us older ladies. We may not be young and super-slim, but a lot of us still want clothing that fit our active lifestyles.

Im a size 10-12, & the large is perfect. I liked it so much that I bought it in 2 other colors for my cruise. The length is perfect for my 50-ish age. It comes to just above the knees.its made very well and the material is not see through and is forgiving of imperfections. Love it!
