This skirt is so cute and so flattering! I am a size 10 and ordered the large because I figured it would be better to have more overlap. It fits great, and I can wear it resting a little bit on my hips, or tighten it to be higher. I got the Navy and its more of a dark denim color, which is what I was hoping. I feel like it would go with any color top that youd wear jeans with. The velcro seems secure and there is definitely enough overlap that its not going to flap open in the breeze. My only complaint is that the fabric doesnt really breathe, it feels hot around my waist. But the quick drying aspect is going to be great for the pool!

I bought this skirt for hiking and it has performed very well. Having the skirt wrap around instead of pulling it on over muddy shoes keeps it cleaner and is simply easier. The material so far doesnt get snagged in the woods and actually does shed water in a light rainfall. It isnt binding when I walk or climb and is very comfortable. It also is perfect when handling bodily functions in nature to maintain some modesty. No more bare bottom flashes! The Velcro at the waist makes it easy to adjust for the perfect fit. I really cant find anything negative about this skirt.

I am 54" and weigh 135 (fit body type) and I bought a Medium. Fit great! I was very pleasantly surprised by this skirt. I was expecting a different type of material, but it exceeded my expectations. The material is super light and soft, but also water resistant. I ended up returning it, but only because I purchased it for a trip and never ended up wearing it. Highly recommend this product if you are looking for a swim suit cover up. I would purchase again for sure.

I have mixed feelings about this item. I swim a lot and wanted something I could wear to the pool that I could quickly and easily take off and throw in my bag. This is perfect. It is really nice to not have to step out of it. I can quickly put it on after swimming and do other things in it. There is plenty of overlap so there is no worry about it blowing open. I will use this at least three times a week. I was thinking the fabric would be a little softer and drape a little easier as it seemed to in the picture. It is just a bit stiff, but I still like it. It reminds me of the fabric used for mens swim trunks and tends to wrinkle a bit. Im not ironing this! Lol! My biggest frustration is the sizing. I measured myself and ordered based on the size chart, but it is too big, even with the 2" either way allowance. I pulled it tight but it wants to sit down lower than I would like. I am only 5 tall, so when it sits low, it goes to the middle of my knees. I think if it were sized properly it would be just above the knee where I want it. Its too expensive to order another and Ive already worn it out so I cant return/exchange it (I just dont feel like that would be right). I got the plain black one and I do think this could be a five-star item if it fit properly and perhaps draped a little easier, but the fabric isnt really a deal-breaker for me. If you swim a lot or are going on vacation, you really need this. And if you are between sizes and dont really want it to hang low, I would suggest sizing down. To be clear, I did measure where I wanted to wear it. Twice.

First review I have ever written... Have never been inspired to write a review before now. I freaking love these skirts! The fabric is awesome, with just the right amount of stretch, no cling, hangs great. I was worried about the fit over my pear shaped bum, but it hangs beautifully. Im 54" and weigh 145 (61 years old), so coverage is called for. I bought a short (original) style skirt in Large to wear after swimming, with my swimsuit. Fits great at my hips. LOVE that I dont have to step into it and that it doesnt get "soggy butt" with a wet suit underneath! Looks cute and sporty, not like an old lady swimdress. So, I bought a version 2 longer skirt to wear when I am not at the pool. I got a Medium, which I wear a bit higher at my waist with tee shirts. Amazingly, it also fits great! I am dangerous at this point... I may keep buying more! Questions I had before I bought: I am not a size 6 with straight hips, will it work on my curvy body with a big bum? YES! Works fine, hangs just right. Is there enough overlap to sit at the pool, or will it pull open and expose what I am trying to keep covered? NO PROBLEM, both versions are fine when sitting. What about length? Will it cover enough? Too much? I find the short skirt, worn at my hips to be cute and the right coverage for me. Younger women may prefer shorter, but I love it. The longer skirt is too long on my short frame IF I wear it at my hips, but from my waist it falls a couple inches above my knee and looks just right. I agree with the previous post that suggested to put the fuzzy (vs scratchy) side of the velcro facing out; some of my shirts snag on it just a bit. Believe the great reviews, believe the great rating - this is one terrific skirt. THANKS!
