Although unnecessary for a fox costume, it sure didnt hurt the look. Ill add the most important part of my review. I was nervous about it being one size and most of these reviews speak to "waist size" which makes no sense when I dont know who would wear a tutu around their waist... Ill clarify that although Im a 36 inch waist, my HIPS which is where I would imagine an sane person would wear a tutu are 54 inches around. This tutu WILL FIT a person of my size. It sits slightly snug but not to the point that it feels uncomfortable or like the elastic is going to snap. Im glad I took a gamble on this. I would purchase again.

This is a great TuTu for a costume - The five layers make it very full and fluffy. My daughter wore it under a red/black tutu that was shorter for extra fluff and too add some extra length. She is a size 4 - but it has plenty of stretch and would fit a wide range of sizes (easily up to a size 10 or 12).

I bought this for a birthday party where about 10 women were all planning to wear tutus! I received several compliments on mine because it was fluffier than some of the other tutus ordered from other vendors on amazon. The quality was great; the elastic band provided a great fit for me (size 6) and my mother (size 14) when she tried it on the next day. The purple color is exactly as pictured. The skirt is very layered and looks cute but smells like rotten fish. I was in the car with my sisters when I opened the package and we all had to roll down our windows because it was like dead rotten fish was left in that bag or something. I tried spraying it and nothing. The skirt has the blue layer on top and the pink on the bottom so you don’t really get to see the pretty colors unless you flip the skirt upside down and cut the tag. I wanted it for a color run but it’s a bit too poofy for that occasion. You need to wear shorts underneath it as it does go up in the back.

The picture is a bit misleading. By looking at the photo I had thought this would cover my behind, it did not. I wore leggings underneath, and planned to prior to purchase, I had just anticipated a bit longer fabric. It was nice and fluffy though, and the waistband was thicker - I appreciate that. This way it did not roll down during wear.
