So disappointed! This item arrived after a month (ordered on 10/13) of waiting and when I finally opened it, its too big! I have a 29 inch waist so I went with a size 10, thinking that the size chart in the picture would be accurate. However, I see that the size chart provided in the detail section is different from that one. It does say 30 inches there (in the details section), but why they would use two different sizing charts is beyond me. Its good material, nicely made. A lot less stiff than I thought it would be but its also not cotton; I doubt it will shrink much, if at all, with washing. Ill have to have it tailored, which isnt so terrible but its an unexpected cost after a long wait.

Actually, this product didnt necessarily "fit as expected" because I have lost quite a bit weight and Im working to find what my new sizes actually are. However, it "fit as I hoped" it would. Im 54" and these skirts are long enough that the hemline falls nicely below my knee (exactly what I was looking for) and doesnt show "too much leg" as is my husbands normal complaint about todays fashions. Indeed, at my age, I cant feature anybody wanting to see me in some sort of above-the-knee skirt or dress, including myself. The fabrics are not too heavy, but substantial enough to give the the skirt a lovely drape. I now have three of these, one each navy, khaki, and black. As they are easy to pair with anything, and can be dressed up or down to suit the occasion, I consider this particular portion of my new wardrobe complete.

I am petite (4 foot 11 in.) and skinny at about 115 pounds. I ordered the medium, based on the advice I found here, but the waist is still a bit snug on me. I have to be careful about what blouse I wear with it, because only very fine fabrics can be tucked in without giving me a backache later in the day. It is a very flattering cut and nice fabric, and I get compliments on the skirt every time I wear it. I think the problem is that the waistline has not been designed to stretch or give at all--the fabric doesnt stretch, and it is not designed with any extra give in the closure, either. I have actually contemplated adjusting the waistband closure myself to make it more comfortable.

Im only 5 tall, approximately 105 lbs. and my waist size is 28". I was originally debating whether to get a size 4 or 6 because of the waist size on the chart. I opted for the size 4 and was happy with the fit. Not too tight nor too loose, and just enough room to tuck in a blouse or light sweater. Because I am short, the skirt comes down to about 3" past my knees, but my plan was to get a longer skirt anyway. I purchased dark blue (navy), black and coffee brown. I also like the fact that the they can be worn in the summer or winter. They appear to be nicely made with a liner, and the material is not too thin, just right for all seasons. In the winter, I plan on wearing them with leggings and ankle boots.

Im usually a 00/0 (54", 110 lbs) and the size two fits pretty well. It sits above the hips which is where all of my skirts have to sit to fit properly. I ordered the olive green color. I have two complaints: 1) The material is not what I expected and I am disappointed by that. It has a shine to and the fabric is heavier, feels kind of like curtains. This makes it look more costume-y. 2) the zipper is crap (I paid $15 for this skirt, so you get what you pay for). Its only a matter of time before it breaks. It is such a struggle to get it zipped up that final inch due to the seam at the waist band. If it had an eyelet hook at the top that may make it easier, but its just a flimsy zipper.
