Well, it is very hard to tell if a kimono is going to fit a plus size person. Sometimes an XL will work because these type of tops are unstructured. This is not one that works. I read a review from a person who said she she was 250# and 57". and said the XL fit fine. I am also about that size and the shoulders are tight, and the kimono doesnt even come close to being able to close in the front. On sizing they indicate an XL has a 50" chest. That is impossible. As far as the quality... it is pretty decent. I would consider it semi sheer, the navy blue was spot on regarding the color. So overall a nice kimono. Just wish they came in bigger sizes!
