These kimono tops/jackets are all the rage right now. I live in Japan, the land of kimono, but sadly, they do no fit my svelte figure. This flowing jacket is perfect over pants and jeans...lightweight and adds a touch of style to a plain white tee and jeans, and looks great with black dress pants, simple shell and some jewelry. I have not laundered it yet and I am hoping that if washed in cold water and hung to dry it will not shrink or lose its shape. BTW, I am not a tassel/fringe kind of girl, so I did snip off the tassels.

The pattern (I got the leaf print) is AMAZING. I wanted to love this so bad. Unfortunately, I just drowned in this garment, it was so big. And Im not a petite person--Im 57" and typically wear a size 10-12. I ended up returning it because it just swallowed me and I couldnt really think of anytime I would wear it.

I am 56", 140lbs and it was massive on me; not just flowing but oversized like I was playing dress up. The fabric is slippery and wouldnt stay put so I sent it back.

Item received does not resemble the leafy green and white one I selected, let alone any other advertised.

I get that this is supposed to be flowy (it is in the title after all) but it was too much for me. I love the pix that other reviewers posted but it just did not feel like me. I have a long, athletic body type (no curves) and I did not feel flattered in this so it is going back. Pattern is super cute though and I did feel like the item was nice quality. If this is ever made in a shorter version I feel like that might be more doable.
