This shirt performed perfectly on my trip to the Amazon, where even in the 110 degree heat & humidity we had to be covered from head to toe to protect from insect bites and the hot sun. The shirt has two side zip pockets that were great for holding things like money and lip balm with 50 SPF. The roll-up tabs worked well for when we were on the boat and less likely to be bitten. The vent features worked well to keep me comfortable even in the hot sun. Bought two different colors of them, two different sizes because from two different vendors, for some reason they were sized differently. Im 55" & 140, & this medium fit well with plenty of room. Also loved the snap buttons which made for easy changes. Overall, very satisfied with this purchase & great value.

My husband has 4 of these lightweight Columbia shirts and since he is wanting the family to do more camping, backpacking and lightweight trips, I needed a breathable, fast-drying shirt that can be washed in a hotel sink and line dry overnight, just like his. Also, I did not want the shirt to be see-through at all so I invested in the black color, which I LOVE! It is honestly worth the price to not worry that everyone can see through my shirt if I sweat or get a little wet from rain or a splash. Black is a slimming color any ways. These shirts have SNAPS, not buttons, so I took a gamble and ordered 1 size up. I wanted the shirt to be plenty roomy and I did NOT want it to be tight under the arm pits in any way so that if I flexed or stretched, the snaps at my bust would explode open. Going 1 size up was the perfect option for me and I am so, so, so very glad that I went a size larger. There is just no way for the snaps to pop open no matter how I flail my arms around because the shirt has room. The cut of the shirt is feminine so you dont look frumpy, even if the shirt is larger. But if you are buxom, I would suggest a size up.

Columbia Womens Tamiami is my very favorite shirt for summer sun protection, and I have many shirts to compare it against. Im in the California sun a lot and prefer long sleeves to protect my skin. I bought this shirt in 4 colors as it is the most comfortable, coolest, softest, most flattering of all my sun shirts. The fabric and fit are exceptional!! CAUTION: the fit of the 2017 Tamiami II is what Id call "athletic" - so its a slim fit. I usually wear a Medium, unless the top is labeled "Athletic Fit", which is code for "tight". I bought one Tamiami II in Medium, and it is very flattering, but a little tighter than I normally would wear. However, the fabric is soft a little stretchy, so I actually really like this fit. I bought 3 in Large, and the 2017 version Large is a generous-but-not-overly-loose fit. I also bought one in Dark Lime, which is not a color that Columbia shows on their website right now - I think it may be a previous years color? That shirt in Large is much bigger. So I wish I would have ordered the Medium in Dark Lime. Also, the White is VERY transparent - I dont mind as I usually wear a tank top under it, but I wouldnt wear it over just a bra.

True to size according to size chart - I got XS (26-in waist, 35.5-in hips, usually a size 2 sometimes 4, 52" 120lbs). Love the fabric - stretchy, light, breathable, quick-dry. The clear blue color was brighter than pictured, less of a pale blue, but I still like it and it goes well with my complexion (tan/golden olive, similar to the model). I think these shirts look better/more feminine with the sleeves rolled, but its good with the sleeves down, too. Fitted/figure-flattering. Way more comfortable than a typical dress shirt and appropriate for both work AND hiking/outdoor adventures! Im all about finding more versatile clothing as womens clothing typically has such a narrow niche (i.e. special occasions, formal, semi formal, business casual, casual, athleisure, workout...items usually dont work for multiple categories). This allows me to reduce the overall size of my wardrobe! I really dont think it runs small, though if you want a roomy fit I suppose you could size up since its a fitted (but not tight) cut.

These shirts are awesome. The fabric is very silky, the cut is tapered and very flattering, they dont require ironing, are very versatile, and just look great. I get compliments every time I wear one. I have the LS, SS, and Sleeveless versions and love them all. Just wish I could afford to get more of the LS ones for cooler weather. They are dressy enough that I wear them to work under a blazer with skirts and slacks. My only complaint is the fishing rod tab on the left breast - wish it wasnt so obvious. I know, its a fishing shirt, but it works for so much more than that - work, hiking, shopping, traveling, etc. Sizing - I usually wear a small misses or a medium juniors (32C, broad shoulders). The XS in this shirt fit perfectly; the small was too large. I prefer fitted, tailored clothes instead of loose or boxy.
