A couple months ago, I decided to expand my wardrobe and discovered a couple different Lock & Love tops that looked extremely cute and exactly what I was looking for. I didnt know what to expect with these shirts and sizing seems to be a bit of an issue so I took a chance and hoped that I guessed correctly. For reference, I am 56", about 155 pounds with a 36D chest. I ordered a medium in the dark purple and it ended up being a good fit for me. When I first opened the package, I thought it looked pretty unflattering because it seemed huge. I doubted I would wear it very much but I was pleasantly surprised to discover that this shirt looks pretty while wearing it and it makes me less self-conscious about my post-baby belly. This shirt is 95% rayon/ 5% spandex and is made in the USA. Washing instructions say to hand wash or machine wash in cold water and lay flat to dry. I ended up throwing it in a lingerie bag with my darks and laying it on a drying rack and it holds up well after washing. It was slightly wrinkled after it dried but when I wear it, my body heat and the humidity help to iron it out a bit. This shirt is extremely soft and is the perfect shirt for warm weather since it feels cool to the touch. It is a bit see-through but I wore a black bra with my dark purple shirt and didnt have too much of an issue although I will probably wear a cami in the future to feel more comfortable. This shirt is longer than most shirts I buy but it is more fitted at the bottom and I like to wear it scrunched up around the waist. The description says this shirt is a scoop neck but my shirt is a V-neck with big, flowy sleeves. I checked the colors more closely just now and discovered that most of the colors have both the V-neck and scoop neck options available so make sure you double-check which type of shirt you are buying. In summary, I like this shirt more than I initially thought and like the look of it when I wear it. The neck and sleeves fit bigger than I normally wear but overall, I like the look and will wear it with a cami underneath since the material is a bit thinner. The purple is very pretty, looks like royal purple and Im happy with the color. It seems that the size is the hardest thing for everyone to decide. I either wear a medium or large in shirts, depending on the fit. I went with a medium and it ended up being the better fit since a large wouldve been too big. If you have two sizes you usually wear, Id purchase this one in the smaller size. I will most likely order another color at some point since this shirt is very versatile and I can wear it with jeans and maxi skirts. Id recommend adding this shirt to your wardrobe!
