Needed this for overseas travel to take to museums that do not allow backpacks (I have a purse/backpack by same brand as this crossbag). It fit a small wallet, cell phone I use for pics, a small guidebook, and some other basics. The outside zippered pocket was particularly handy to keep tickets we needed for transportation and museum entrance purchased on line. Purchased in gold color so that it would go with a variety of outfits. Adjustable strap allows you to adjust length.

I love this little purse. Unfortunately, I returned it because the positioning of the fabric turned it into a predominantly yellow purse. The pattern of this one is called watercolor river. It is a beautiful deep pointillistic style pattern in blue, green, red, yellow, black, and white. I love the way the photo shows primarily blue and green with touches of red and yellow. But it all depends upon where the pattern falls on the fabric, and the bag I received had this river of yellow pattern both across the front and the back of the bag. Not what I had in mind. I considered rolling the dice and ordering again but thought I had little chance of receiving one closer to the one pictured or might even receive the yellow streak design again. So never mind.

Finally, I choose this color, cause this is more unique which is owned by fewer people, and more suitable for me. When it comes to the material of all Kipling bags, its always light and waterproof, this is why I love this brand.
