Rothco Double Strap Duffle Bag, Coyote ( 22"x38")

Like a lot of other reviewers, I got this primarily for laundry duty. I have to use a laundromat and I go by bicycle. This lets me do everything I own; clothes, sheets, blanket, towels, ect in one trip. I kinda wanted to use it to transport my rifle as well, but it is too floppy for that job. The floppiness makes it hard to use it to transport anything rigid for that matter. Plus it has no backing, so stuff can easily poke you in the back if it isnt arranged right. Another danger of this bag is the possibility you might fall in. ;p

This is a very big bag. Great quality! I ordered the black one. I didnt want something high fashion like Calvin Klein or Michael Kors those expensive bags Im not in the military but I wanted a military-style bad that will last me a long time and this bag will do just that. The reason I ordered this type of baggage because I respect the military people that sacrifice for us so this is perfect for me Eventually plan to put my favorite band patches on this bag. I use this bag for carrying a change of clothes, boots, and a few tools for construction as well as taking clothes to the laundromat. Its not as wide as my old Army duffel bag (didnt get the xtra large) but makes it a bit more convenient for taking it on the bus everyday. Material seems strong and durable. Only issue I have noticed is with the adjustable buckles... they are round and the material for the straps is rather smooth so they tend to creep tighter which is awkward for you need to put on and take off the bag a few times. Best to use some tape or other hack to keep the buckles in a set position.

I am extremely happy with this purchase. Its a heavy weight canvas bag thats very well made. I use it for laundry. Ive gotten tired over how cheaply other laundry bags are made. They break and tear under the weight of a heavy load of laundry. Ive been using this for quite some time now and its held up to the wear and tear of throwing 50-60lbs of weight at a time, sometimes more. The straps are comfortable and it disperses the weight pretty evenly. This is really the best bag Ive used for laundry. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who needs to haul a heavy load of anything for a distance on a regular basis.

I ordered one of these bags around May 2011 for my son to use at a weeklong scout camp. He was able to pack everything he needed FOR A WEEK in this bag, and the one thing he couldnt (a spare pair of shoes) he was able to hook to the bag. He used the bag a second time for a weeklong school camp out. It held up so nicely and worked so well I have since purchased one for my husband and one for my younger son to use when theyre camping. For a recent campout my husband was able to fit all of his personal gear in one bag and all of the tent gear (including sleeping bags, sleeping pads, mess kits, cold weather gear, etc) in one bag and so instead of making multiple trips to the car at the campsite they have three duffles and theyre done. The adjustable straps make it easy for just about anyone to carry and the bag has plenty of storage. We have both the black version and two green versions and they have held up equally well in hot, cold and rainy weather. VERY pleased with this purchase.
