About three years ago, I bought this really cute navy blue and white striped handbag at Target and after about a year and a half of faithful service, the cloth lining started to fall apart. Every fiber of my being wanted to buy a new handbag and replace it but since I couldnt find anything I liked, I painstakingly sewed the lining back into place and carried on using the purse until its state of disrepair was beyond anything my novice sewing skills were capable of fixing. This should indicate that Im not the kind of person who just buys any handbag. I need it to have compartments. I need it to have a zipper that shields the purses precious contents from the elements. I need it to be able to fit my Chromebook in the event that Im traveling somewhere and need to bring it along. I need it to have functionality for both the typical workday and for weekend adventures. Lastly, I dont necessarily "need" it to match with most of my work clothes, but its an added bonus when I can carry a handbag that makes me look effortlessly put together. And here it is. I can tell that this is a handbag that will last me a long time, and I wont need to get out the needle and thread to maintain it. It looks sharp, its sturdy, it fits everything, and the color I purchased even included a matching wallet. It was a big leap for me to buy a handbag without being able to have that tactile in-store "yes this will work for me" experience so if youre the kind of person who waffles back and forth about buying a handbag sight unseen via an online retailer, worry no more. This is the one. However, a word of caution: If youre looking for something relatively small, this isnt it. This is a carry-everything-get-the-job-done-and-be-practical-and-cute-at-the-same-time type of handbag so if youre looking for something a little more portable, like for a night out, Id recommend picking a style that includes the matching wallet so you can use it as a wristlet.

Received this purse and while I expected a large tote bag I did not expect a suitcase. So if you are looking for an extremely large bag this may work for you. I have several large tote bags but none as large as this one. I will keep it just to use as a traveling bag but it is not something that you would use daily unless you are using it for a laptop briefcase.

It looks awesome and it feels high quality. Theres plenty of room for everything I need and more. It comes inside a reusable bag. I thought when buying this the wallet was going to be cheap but wow, thats great too! At first I was disappointed that there wasnt one more pocket inside but I remedied that by using a makeup bag. I would buy from this company again. ** Updated review ** Its been a little over a year now, and the purse is still going strong! I love it. Unfortunately the original purse strap broke at exactly the 1 year mark. I e-mailed the company asking to purchase a replacement, and to my surprise they sent out a new strap free of charge. It was totally unexpected and very much appreciated. I also got the new purse strap shortly after contacting them. They really went above and beyond! Ill definitely buy another Dasein purse when mine bites the dust. Unfortunately, the new purse strap already broke. :( It lasted 11 days. In all honesty I expected that. My old purse strap is thicker and feels sturdier. The new one they sent me feels thin and cheap. I really hope they didnt replace all the purse straps with this style.... Maybe they sent me the wrong strap. Im going to try and fix the old purse strap and if not, check around and see if I can order a similar replacement online.
