I was so excited to receive this bag. It looks like high quality leather; has the perfect number of pockets; is soft, yet has a bottom that allows the bag to stand up; its not too big, yet big enough that you can easily find things; and it looks like a bag that would cost 4 times the price... UNTIL... you see the underside of the strap. Rather than the strap being all PU "leather", only the top side is. The underside is some kind of cheap looking canvas fabric that is very scratchy on a bare shoulder and cheapens the look of the bag. The mixed material on the strap was not mentioned in the description. I dont understand why they would cheapen the look of such a beautiful bag in this manner. I tried to get past this flaw, but this feature made the bag both uncomfortable and unattractive. It seems like over time, the material would begin to fray and need to be cleaned. The rest of the bag can be wiped with a damp cloth, but I have no idea how you would clean the underside of the strap. It was a heartbreaker to send this otherwise perfect bag back, but sadly the search for the perfect black bag continues.
