I bought this bag because there are certain things I need from a handbag- I care more about function. I wanted floppy handles that fell down. I hate when handles sit straight up. They are annoying. I want a zipper close. I have too much stuff in my bag for just a button. Lastly, I travel a lot. I wanted a shoulder strap to go over my luggage. This bag has all 3. It’s also black - preferred color. It also has zipper pockets on the front and back of the purse which are rather useful. I plan to buy this exact bag again so I never have to be without it. This is the perfect bag.

I like it a lot. I was worried it would be thin flimsy material but it isn’t at all it seems very hefty and durable. Very thick material. The only two reasons I took a star off is bec it’s more like a beige/ light grey color not white. Also bec the packaging made a big dent in the side that I hope will fade away with some use, but the material is thick and durable like I said so I don’t know if I can get the dent out. It made a little cut in the black outer lining bec of the way it was folded in the package as shown in the third picture. It’s still cute though. I’ll be using it for sure.

The description of this purse is very accurate. It arrived in a cloth-like bag for protection in storage. It looks very nice. Im afraid the handles may not wear well without some binding on the edges. Also, the side zipper was pulled open in the closed position, but I zipped it back and forth and it closed just fine. More inside pockets would be nice. Color is very nice. The metal trim does not look cheap. For the price, its an excellent buy.

The Ynique purse is well made. I’ve only had it for a week, but I like it. I put my keys in the gold-zipper pocket outside the purse in the front, and I put my cell phone in the plastic-zipper pocket outside the purse in the back. It has metal “feet” on the bottom which is nice to keep the bottom of the bag off the floor. I don’t use the shoulder strap that came separate with the purse, I use the short straps that are attached. The only thing I’m not fond of is the stiff, shiny leather-like material the purse is made of.

The designer of this Ynique purse read my mind. My handbag needs evolved a lot over the years after retiring, but it wasnt until yesterday that I figured out what I really needed, and today it was in my hands! (Very impressed with Amazons one-day Prime shipping.) The purse is real leather that stands up by itself but is not too heavy or bulky. Many designers think more pockets are better, but for me they are more confusing. The Ynique tote model has two zippered pockets outside, one zippered pocket and two small open pockets inside. Instead of many dividers or pockets cluttering up the interior, plenty of room is available for random items. One of the best features is the top zipper that closes the entire bag when you want the contents to be secure. Since the attached handles are large enough to put over my shoulder, I dont expect to use the longer optional shoulder strap. The color and shine of the polished leather, the simple styling, and the brass accents are elegant. The affordable price and great quality make it an excellent bargain, so I dont feel guilty for retiring a plethora of old purses for one that really suits my needs. Kudos to the Ynique designer.
