Update: I received item Monday night and was highly satisfied, as you will notice from original review, but today (Thursday - after only 2.5 days of light use), the "genuine" leather started to peel off the wallet. Requesting the seller reach out to me. Please see photo attached to review. I have had real genuine leather wallets that lasted 5 years and went through rough wear and tear but never did they "peel" like this did after less than 3 days! I just got it, so may have to update. First, the look is very good. Looks like high quality leather. Whether this is, despite the low price, what it is will become clear. If it starts peeling or cracking, something is going on. Second, I like the inside flap which is raw leather, so has a grip that stops paper from slipping. Third, the hardware looks good--lets see how hardwearing and how resilient the stitching. Finally, the color, brown, is gorgeous and just right. I have one big peeve: thickness. If you have 13 cards and an iPhone, thats pretty much it, cant squeeze much else, like bills or receipts. Moreover, because the bills go on the side that is not closed on all sides but has the clasp, the danger of things falling out is greater, especially if the clip does not hold when under pressure. So I hope they will make a version with a 2" thickness and possibly a shoulder strap too. I know there is a market for it. I will post again in a few months to report on its condition.
