I thought Amazon wardrobe would be great for testing out shoes -- you never know if they are too small or too big, since sizes vary from brand to brand and even sometimes from shoe type to shoe type within the brand. However, Amazon Wardrobe has been nothing short of a NIGHTMARE experience. I returned the items, Amazon said that I didnt, I provide them with a receipt to show that I even dropped it off at UPS weeks ago and that UPS shows that it has been delivered to the Amazon warehouse and n o t h i n g. Amazon stops replying to the emails and a week later charges me over $300 for 3 pairs of shoes that did not fit (these included, they were not comfortable at all) and for shoes I returned to them 3 weeks ago. DO NOT USE WADROBE.

in shoes i normally wear 9.5 to 10 us women, and 39 european. I bought the women 7/Uk 9. Seemed a perfect fit at first, now feel slightly too big after wearing for three months..not unusable, but i put an extra sole insert into it to make them more snug, and they work fine this way. a size smaller would probably be too tight. First few weeks they rubbed just above my heel a little, so i wore them an hr a day for a week or two and they no longer hurt at all.

I purchased and returned several pairs of 1460s- I ultimately ended up keeping a pair of the 1460W in black and a unisex pair of 1460 in cherry. The top of the womens boots are a little snug, but after wearing them once, they fit perfectly. The unisex boots are a little loose as they have much more room in the top of foot area (When I bought the unisex boots, I ordered my normal size and a size smaller. The size smaller was too small for me). I am in love with both boots, but I probably should have ordered my cherry 1460s in a womens size. I shopped around and ended up buying both pairs on Amazon at an amazing price, so I am quite happy!

This makes my fifth pair of Docs, and second pair of 1460s. These shoes fit tighter than other pairs of 5UKs I have ordered, though they do feel like they are loosening up a bit with wear even in just one day. I dont think theyre going to be too large with wear. Like my other 1460s, these also dig in the area above my heel / behind the ankle which can be a bit painful when worn for extended periods of time or without a heel pad. The black color of these boots is very nice, and the yellow stitching looks as expected (not cheaply done). These did not come with extra laces, though to be fair I dont remember receiving extra laces with any of my previous Docs (even when ordered from the official Dr Martens website). This particular pair were made in Vietnam, and I have seen a few of the other reviews insinuate that these must be fakes since they are not made in England. Regular ol Dr Martens have not been made in England since about 2003, and are now often made in China, Thailand, or Vietnam. (There is a special line of Made in England docs that will run you double the cost of these!) I am confident the pair I received are not fakes.

Just received those tonight and they fit very well (size 9 / UK7) They may be a bit large especially I am wearing them in the evening. I am a guy and wear a size 6.5M/7M but I find the men sizes always too wide or large for my foot. Glad I did not take the unisex size as they would have been too big. So if you are a woman with a normal Medium width foot those will fit perfectly. And if you are a man with a small medium width foot likewise. If the top of your foot is very high they could be a bit tight. They are extremely comfortable with a thick pair of socks or a normal pair of socks. In addition, there is plenty of room in the toe box. I dont feel like taking them off!
