Love these boots fit as expected after reading reviews tight where tongue is sewn into shoe ,after 6 to 10 hours of wearing them they are breaking in and are much more comfortable. Bought a size 39eu usually wear a 38eu had to go up a full size. I purchased the black patent leather boots. Lots of fun!!

I SO wanted these to work out. I had a ratty pair of knock-offs that had been in my closet for ages, and it was time for the real deal. Sadly, they were *at least* half a size too big, so I had to send them back. I double-checked the charts. I’m true to size in a women’s 9, so not sure why they didn’t fit. One thing that surprised me was how very thin the leather tongue is compared to the well-built sturdiness of the rest of the shoe. I suppose they have their reasons for making it this way, but I’ve never seen it before. I think I’ll keep my fingers crossed and give the shoe another try in a smaller size. (That’s another task... Why is it so hard to shop for these on Amazon??)

I had to return these :( It felt like someone was trying to scrape my heels off with a metal paint scraper every time I took a step. I tried various insoles to keep my heel from moving, but if its that snug, ankles cant bend, and it wasnt effective anyway. Also the laces are barely long enough. Cant do a double knot. For $85 I expect them to be wearable and have decent laces. I have had Docs before and loved them, so its not just the brand. I am aware that they take some breaking in, but these were too painful to get to that point. I was so looking forward to having another pair.

I thought Amazon wardrobe would be great for testing out shoes -- you never know if they are too small or too big, since sizes vary from brand to brand and even sometimes from shoe type to shoe type within the brand. However, Amazon Wardrobe has been nothing short of a NIGHTMARE experience. I returned the items, Amazon said that I didnt, I provide them with a receipt to show that I even dropped it off at UPS weeks ago and that UPS shows that it has been delivered to the Amazon warehouse and n o t h i n g. Amazon stops replying to the emails and a week later charges me over $300 for 3 pairs of shoes that did not fit (these included, they were not comfortable at all) and for shoes I returned to them 3 weeks ago. DO NOT USE WADROBE.

in shoes i normally wear 9.5 to 10 us women, and 39 european. I bought the women 7/Uk 9. Seemed a perfect fit at first, now feel slightly too big after wearing for three months..not unusable, but i put an extra sole insert into it to make them more snug, and they work fine this way. a size smaller would probably be too tight. First few weeks they rubbed just above my heel a little, so i wore them an hr a day for a week or two and they no longer hurt at all.
