These are exactly the same model and much better quality of the upper side of my old USD$100 Steve Madden Martin/ Combat Boots. They are SO comfy. The laces are functional but you can easily wear them as they have a working zipper in the inside side. They are layered in breathable textile and the sole is very comfy. I have rather wide ankles and the zip can be closed to the top. They are round shaped and wide enough to be used for painful feet conditions, such as Hallux Valgus or Fascitis, without pressuring anywhere or causing pain (I have both problems on my feet and it is a nightmare to get proper shoes for me). Size: Usually I am 8 and ordered a 8,5 thinking of using them with thick socks + fasciitis insole in the back side and painful hallux valgus and they fitted perfectly. Just order your usual size or additional 1/2 size if you want to use insoles of thick socking, sizing is okay. Outer looking: good quality. The color is taupe, not beige, not gray, but something in between. Ive used them already several times and they are fine. Its PU, synthetic leather, when you pick them from the box eventually you would say they look kind of "plastic", yes, you wont be able to say it could be real leather, yet has some "light leather texture", overall, they look really really nice when you have them on your feet. They dont look cheap, at all. Sole: good quality. Ive used once shoes from China that mark your feet with squares when walking and even feeling some stones beneath your soles, but it is not the case. The walking experience with them is nice. Very comfy and thermal insolation is more than appropriate. Sweaty feet? I would recommend not to think of these ones as regular daily- unique pair. My feet are kind of sweaty and even using cotton blend socks, if you wear them two days in a row they could be a bit smelly. However, when you use it your feet feel fresh and warm during the day. Packaging: they came impeccably packed in a sturdy box and wrapped in silk paper, inside filled with paper to keep the shape intact. Conclusion: best match for a super versatile, girly but classic Martin/ Combat boot without paying too much that looks great, will be with you at least a couple of years and keep you warm and comfy during the day.

Got these for my daughter who usually bought a very similar item at Target. When she could no longer find them, I was able to get these. She loved them and was excited that they were almost identical to the target version. They are fashion boots, non leather and not intended for heavy duty work use.

So my daughters in this phase of wearing cute tops and jeans with boots. I too had this phase in high school. Funny how that works out. But she loves these boots, in fact, she wont stop wearing them and its annoying me to no end like it did my Mom. Anywhoodles, the fit is true to size, the boot itself is comfortable and she loves that its not a "clunky" (I think she means heavy) shoe.

I mean the price is very reasonable, rather cheap really for a pretty decent boot. I actually originally ordered the brown pair because my boots I did have I got paint on them and was looking for a similar pair. Found these, ordered the brown, like them a lot and then ordered the black. The price really allows for that. Now Im not saying they are the best quality boots I have ever owned but they definitely serve their purpose. Im pleased with my purchase.

This is probably my 4th pair of similar looking combat boots and these were by far the worst. As soon as I opened the package, I noticed how thin and cheap the material was. And they technically fit to size but they just feel weird when wearing them. The toe area is too large and they just never feel right. My previous boots all fit perfectly and I never had to adjust the laces across outfits. These ones Im always tightening or loosening depending on my pants. Not a fan. Wish I could return them.
