Very happy with this purchase. Read many reviews that stated Hunter boots run large. Im normally a size 8 (sometimes 7.5) in womans and I ordered a 7 and they are perfect! These rain boots are very comfortable and have a cushy feeling in the soles. I love the short length. Im 54" and the top hits just below mid-calf. Also, you cant beat the price versus in department stores. Perfect for the rainy, spring weather!

I received my first pair of Hunters for my birthday just in time for Fall! My husband has had a pair for five years now, so I know theyre long-lasting and great quality. As someone who is barely 52 with 6.5 feet, I opted for this short boot in size 6. Great fit and height to mid-calf! Other reviewers said it can get snug with thick socks (like the Hunter brand) and I agree with that. If you dont plan on wearing thick socks, then its fine to size down if youre a half size.

Ive been wanting a pair of Hunter boots, tired of my feet getting soaking wet in the rain. So my hubby bought these for my birthday. They are way cheaper on her than in store. I wear a 9 1/2 and all the reviews said to size down. So i got a 9 and glad I did as they fit perfectly. The 10s would have been huge. I love these boots so much..I was going back and forth between these and the tall ones and decided on these. Still want the tall ones though. Originally was going to buy a cheap pair of rain boots, so glad I didnt because these are so much nicer. Definitely recommend them.

Im a very true size 7.5 and after reading all the reviews, which stated that these boots run big, I went with the size 7 and Im so glad I did !!! They fit me PERFECTLY! With these size 7 boots, I CANNOT feel the end of the boot with my big toe. In other words, my big toe is not touching the front tip/edge of the boot at all. I can criss-cross my toes and still have plenty of wiggle room. I HATE it if my toes feel constricted and mashed together (weird, I know). I wear my regular Adidas socks with them and if I had sized up to a size 8, I would have had WAY too much room at the toe. That being said, when I wear these with my thick boot socks for cold weather, they are much more snug and my toes arent really comfortable. I can honestly tell you that if I needed these for super cold weather, and mostly intended to wear super thick socks with these, I would have gone up to an 8. My intent is to have these for Spring and Fall rainy seasons and also during Summer when Im working in the garden. So if youre like me and your foot is half sized, and you plan to wear your regular everyday socks with these, the same ones you would normally wear with your tennis shoes, then make sure you size DOWN to the next whole size. Side note** I am also about 80 lbs. overweight right now and had previously purchased the higher riding boot style from Hunter which proceeded to STRANGLE my calves. I had to return them. So I purchased these and they in no way constrict my calves AT ALL. Lots of room at the top! They are suuuuper cute too!

Love these boots. Totally worth the investment. I usually wear a 9-10 and I ordered the 10. Im glad I did, definitely feel comfortable and have enough room to add the boot socks. I have fairly large calves and these are not too tight at all, which is usually a concern for me with boots. The green is lovely and true to the picture. When wearing them you can tell they are sturdy. The tread on the bottom is amazing also, and you dont feel like youre going to slip in the rain while wearing.
