My girls saved their money and bought these boots before they left for college to give to me for Christmas. Unfortunately, the calves are so tight. I can not wear them. I did not want to get their money back, just exchange them for the extended calf boot. This company will not do it! They will not be out of money - just an exchange. Very disappointed since my girls were excited to give them to me. We will not order from this company again.

I really like these boots. I live in the in northern Indiana where it can gets way below 0 at times. I have ventured out in these boots and it is so nice not to worry when stepping in a puddle or snow. My feet stay warm even without the boot socks. I do have different sized calves do to multiple surgeries on my ankle. One is a 15.5 and the other is a 14.5. The boots are a perfect fit on my 14.5 leg but are ever so snug on my 15.5 leg. So if you measure your calves and they are above a 15.5 you may want to go with the adjustable back version of these boots. My second bit of advice would he to get a boot jack. They are a life saver and make taking tall boots of a breeze. I am sure they sell them on Amazon, or you can find them at places that sell horse supplies. I wear lots of boots and it saves my entire body as I am not a yoga enthusiast so getting my boots of by myself is not an easy task.

I ordered the matte navy and love them. They are a very dark navy, but they dont look black. My usual size is 10 and a 1/2, and I ordered the size 10 which fit perfectly wirh thick boot socks and are very comfortable. No slipping or shifting, and the sturdy heel keeps your foot at the perfect angle. I have very slim calves at 59" and 145 pounds, and the tops gapped slightly, so I tuck some knit boot toppers around the shaft top for a good look and a perfect fit. My feet and jeans stay bone dry in mud and standing water, and you only need to hose them off.

Yep, they are staring at my boots again. Everyone seems to have Hunter boots, but no one in my town has the white ones but me! I get comments every time I wear them. They are so comfortable that I get excited when it rains, because I get to wear my boots. But truth be told, I wear them on sunny days too! THE FIT I wear a size 9.5 shoe and bought the size nine. They fit great. Very flexible and comfortable. I’m 5’8” tall and 138 lbs. The calves run on the smaller side, so if you have big calves you may have issues. I can wear them with jeans tucked in, but there isn’t much room left. I have rather large calves for my size, but I’m fairly lean, wearing a size 6 jean.

I have never had a pair of Hunter boots so Im not sure if what I have experienced is normal, but please keep in mind I wear these at a barn. The inside of the boot sole is SO flat. I went out and bought inserts just to make it through the day. Now that I have the insoles, I get blisters as well as a pinching on both sides of my toes. I am going to try another insole because of the price tag. On the brighter side, these boots do get a LOT of wear. In one day, Ill be wearing these boots for 14 hours. They keep my feet dry from mud, but keep in mind, these do not have ventilation so feet do get a bit sweaty. Overall, Im not upset with these boots, just going to play around with the sole.
