My spouse wanted these boots for a holiday gift. They are trendy and they do look pretty cool, and dare I say quite British. They arrived perfectly packaged, in brand new condition, and made my spouse exceedingly happy! I expect that his feet, ankles, and much of his leg will be well protected from rain, and just about everything else wearing these. The price was good and the Hunter quality is of course excellent!

These are made for adults with child size calves! Buyer beware

I love Hunter boots, they’re so stylish for simple rain boots. I bought the red boots as my second pair, I’m usually a 8 1/2, but got them in a 9. My feet fit fine, however the calf is not wide enough if you are thigher. You might want to measure yours and see if these boots would fit before actually buying them. I wish I had tried them in a store before buying them online.

They are way too tight on the calves, unless you have toothpick legs I would suggest the adjustable ones. I’m hoping I can return the pair I got and get the adjustable kind. Hunter Boots just generally make the tops of these boots wider.

These boots really do feel like quality. I could see how for some people the knee highs would be crunching into your knee cap when you walk but I don’t get bothered by it. I’m 5’5” female and 125lbs. I typically wear size 8.5 or 9 or a euro size 39. I went with a size 8 and these are good for me. They are roomy but not LOOSE. I think this is a good fit for rain boots, to be comfortable with socks.
