I work on a farm twice a week and these have held up incredibly well considering all the stress and abuse I put them through. They are insanely comfortable with great arch support so I can keep going all day. The treads are awesome. Through all the snow, mud, and ice, I havent slipped at all. I dont care for the decorative buckles, although the goats do love to chew on them and use them for their own personal head scratchers.

I tend to be a size 9.5 (very rarely a 10) with average width, and a 10 in these was perfect; roomy enough for thick sock but not swimming with a thinner one; no crowding in the toe box. I am 510" with a 34" inseam and have muscular calves (my calf measurements are: 15" at the largest point, 14.5" at the boot opening, 9" at ankle); I am pleased with the height of them, though they could conceivably be too tall for a smaller woman. These slide on easily and I have no problem getting them off by myself. They are fine with socks and leggings, but I wouldnt expect jeans to fit. I bought them for a three-month trip to Moscow during prime slush season (winter-spring transition), so I will report back after I have some actual experience wearing them. Barring that, I really like these and LOVE the price. I dont believe Hunters would have even worked for me, since their leg opening is only 15". I highly recommend wearing wool socks, as wool breathes and is naturally odor-resistant (these are RUBBER boots, people, your feet are going to sweat in them). My mom, who is a size 9 with wide feet, felt these fit fine, with plenty of room for thick socks; probably a 9 would be a truer fit, but due to the sensitivity of her feet (she would want insoles) and the width, the 10 was comfortable. Do yourself a favor and take some measurements before buying: -To estimate where on your leg the top of the boot will be, measure 15.5" from your heel up your calf; the total heel of the boot is about 1". -The boot opening is 15.5" and there is no stretch; keep in mind the top of the boot will almost surely be higher than the widest part of your calf.

This is my first pair of Kamik boots, and I am extremely happy with them. I was looking for comfortable, stylish, and durable boots to wear while working outside in wet, muddy conditions, as well as inside mucking out horse stalls. I think I hit the jackpot with these. Pros: * They are true to size for my size 10 feet. * I can easily fit flared leg jeans folded into them (or skinny leg jeans, of course). See the customer images I uploaded for proof. * They feel light for rubber boots. * They rubber feels soft and flexible. I can bend the boots at the toe and ankle while I work, without feeling like Im straining them against their seams. * They have a flattering, fitted silhouette. * The top opening is the perfect width to fit around jeans, not be too tight, and yet still hug my legs without any big gaps between my leg and the boot. This is something I really look for in any boot, but especially a rain/work boot because I dont want either rain or hay getting into the boot from the top of a too-wide opening. In fact some small bits of hay did get in during working, but it wasnt nearly as bad as it would have been with some of the wider-opening boots. * The foot area fits my (slightly wider than "medium") feet wearing thin/regular socks with some room to spare. It fits just right while wearing my SmartWool socks. * Tread is deep enough to grip and prevent slipping in mud. * The label states they are waterproof. I hope this remains true for a long time. * The label states they are made of PVC-free rubber. * The label states they are made in Canada. Cons: * They do take a bit of work to get on and off. Getting them on is easier than getting them off (especially since I want to avoid touching the lower portion of the boots after wearing them around the stable). But I have still managed to get in and out of them by myself every time, with more mental annoyance than actual physical strain. * The emblem of the horse on the side of the boots is plastic and not metal, as I had originally thought from the way they looked in Amazons photos. In my opinion, the bit of work to get these boots on/off is more than worth the many things I love about them. It may in fact be unavoidable in order to preserve the flatteringly fitted silhouette of these boots. If you want slim, fitted all-rubber rain boots, can you really expect them to be wide enough at the ankles to easily slip on? Most fitted boots only accomplish that with zippers or laces, which are not an option for this type of boot. The rubber of these boots feels soft and flexible enough to be able to take the strain and stretch of getting them on and off without compromising its strength and form.

These boots are perfect all around. HOWEVER, I have to return them. Not because of anything the boots did. Cute, comfy, great color, good style, heavy duty, durable, just perfect. But my calves are way too big for them. My calves measure 17 inches around and I couldnt get these boots on. Hope this helps someone with calves like mine that are considering buying these boots. Im really disappointed I have to return these.

Ive had these boots for about a year and there are definitely some pros and cons. I LOVE the style, color and height of the boot! They are super cute and also very well made. Very thick rubber with no leaks! But for me, they are not comfortable boots..... at all. First off, as other reviewers have said the calf is very narrow. I have never had terribly wide calves, but I am athletic, and the boot fits around my leg just slightly tighter than Id like. Especially when I wear leg warmers underneath the boot. The second major con is the blisters I get when wearing these boots. At first it wasnt so bad, but as I walk my ankle above my heel hits the back of the boot. This has caused the rubber to slowly be worn down in that spot and now it comes off on my socks (which is very annoying) and has made the blisters worse. Finally, the boots are not breathable at all, which I guess is expected of a rain boot, but I believe it is made worse by the fact it is close to my calf and allows no air to circulate. When I take these boots off my feet usually smell so bad! Overall, an alright boot. I still wear them, I just wish I wouldve known these things before I bought them. Hope this review helps!
