I usually wear a 9 or 9.5. I ordered a 10 based on other reviews I read. The 10 fits perfectly enough room to wear thick socks. Their stiff because they are made out of rubber. I mean they are rain boots. But Im very happy with them. They are fashionable and very high so that way your pants stay dry.

I absolutely adore these boots!!! They do fit snug, but thats one of the things I love about them! The first time I put them on I needed help getting them off, but Ive figured out that if you use your free foot to step on the back of the boot & pull your foot up & out, theyll pull right off! I would recommend sticking to thin smooth socks that go up past your ankle & thatll help the boots slide off without getting stuck... Ive been wearing them all day for the past 2 days traipsing through the water & mud to take my kids fishing & theyve held up very well & havent leaked at all! Theyre very durable so far & super cute, Ive gotten tons of compliments ... I also love that on the red ones the sole is black instead of the same color as the rest of the boot

I love these boots. They do run small, however. When I read in the reviews about going up a size, I thought going from my usual 8.5 to a 9 would do the trick. The odd thing about the boot is the strip that runs across the top of the foot, toward the ankle. (You can see line in the picture.) It is quite tight. The 9 fit the length of my foot perfectly but it was almost impossible to get my foot into the boot -- and once in, it was actually uncomfortable, with that top "line" pressing on the top bone in my foot. I ordered a 10 and the problem was solved. I put an insert into the boot which 1) makes the 10 fit better and 2) will make it warmer when it gets colder. That said, it is a good-looking, well made rain boot. I have thin legs and hate having boots wing out around my calf. This is a tall, thin, boot. If you have larger calves, you may not be as comfortable. I was initially looking for green boots (which they were out of) and ended up with grey. I love the grey and am happy that I didnt get the green. I think they look cool.

LITERALLY... I purchased these boots in September 2012. They just popped up again in a recommendation feed so I had to take 2 seconds to recommend them..... They look so "classy" (for being a rain boot, afterall!) that sometimes I would seriously love to wear them for no reason at all. Ive always hate rainy days.. hated them!.... But these became the one perk that actually made me kind of excited for a rainy day. (Ridiculous, I know...) I specifically am partial to the brown.... I remember that I originally wanted black, and the brown happened to be on sale for MUCH cheaper at the time, so I just went with it.... and IM SO GLAD that I did, b/c brown and other neutrals are so classic and stylish these days. My long-ish coat is navy blue and the two are actually so cute together. The boots are not "shiny" or plastic-y looking, but more of a "matte" look, if you will. Now onto their actual function and size..... 3.5 years, still no leaks, no rips, no problems. Need I say more? I normally wear an 8.5 in shoes but I got a size 9 so that I could wear big socks (and because I think I had a little phase where I thought I wore a 9) but they are just fine. Perhaps theyre a little roomy (?) or it could just be around the legs. Because yes, around the legs/calves they are wide and roomy - which I personally like, but keep that in mind. If youre absolutely so indecisive then just order a size and if they dont fit, return --- I admit to having done this, and Amazon shipped me the boots within 2 days, then I changed my mind and ordered a different size just to see, and the new pair arrived before I even had a chance to return the original pair! Either way, form, function, roominess, style, quality -- these are hands down worth it. Oh, I also wear these as snow boots, navigating the sloshy snowy roads of winter! (but they are not "warm" inside, so youd need to wear big warm socks if you use them as snow boots. theyll definitely insulate your feet from anything wet or muddy, though. thumbs up)

The product run small around ankle and somewhat in calf area, but the foot bed is true to its size my regular size is 9 but I wear 10 on boots and tennis shoes. I do have some muscular calf and I can still wear it with fitted jeans although it feels hugging around it. Its light but making flapping sound as I walk. I tried it in stairs where I need to bend my ankles more and its bearable. I have not try it driving to check if its duable and in rain since it stopped raining after delivery. The physical appearance looks good like hunter or other pricier rain boots. I havent seen any scuff or discoloration upon arrival so hope it stays that way. Im dissapointed though that after it arrive the price went down. Although compared to other boots like hunter, its a lot cheaper ( i am not sure about the quality) but ofcourse the less price for me the better. :-). Have to give another review after testing it in the rain and see if I can drive in it too. For now 3 stars for me.
