I have friends who own Muck boots so I asked them about sizing. I also read the reviews and Q&A before ordering. I wear a 10.5 D street shoe, so I opted for the 10-10.5 boot. It was too snug in the toe cup, although my toes did not bunch. I took the sock pad out and the fit was better, but I want the cushioning so that was not a solution. Also, I wear Vermont made DarnTuff socks with my boots. Subsequently, I ordered the 11.0 - 11.5 boot replacement. It fits really well and is very comfortable -- not too tight and not too loose. I think the key to ordering is simple; if you wear a 10.5 street shoe, go up one-half size in a Muck boot. I think the decision is much more easily made for those who wear whole sizes. In other words, if you wear a size 10 street shoe, order a size 10 Muckster.

These boots fit perfect not too large nor small. I bought them to do light chores around the farm here in northern Michigan. The boots are not for real cold weather. The boots slip on and off very easily. On other slip on boots Ive purchased there is a rigid band around the ankle that is under the neophrene/rubber its purpose is to hold the boot top open. This rigid plastic band has chaffed my ankles and always breaks given time. There is no rigid band of any kind on these boots. The top of the boot is open and remains that way. Very easy to slip a foot into. The top strap loop seems to be well made. Four months so far and nothing has broke. I dont wear them all day long but I do wear them every single day. I would give them another star but have not had them long enough to warrant that.

I love long range/deep sea fishing, but finding deck boots that fit my wide feet has always missed the mark. I was so excited when I slipped these on easily, and back off, just as easily. I walked around the house for a day in them to break them in, but didnt have to. The true test was an overnight trip for rockfish, and standing for about 7 hours. Not foot ache, no knee issues, no back issues. These are 5 stars in book thus far. Im likely to get beefier inserts, but its more preference than immediate need. Love em. Well see how they do in the long run. Side note for the ladies: the wife had the exact same experience for the womens boot, given she also has a wider foot.

Pros: completely water proof, decent traction, easy on/ off Debateable pro: the insole is quite thin which i like but im sure some of you will hate Con: they move around alot while walking because there is no way to tighten them which leads to heavy wear and tear inside at the upper heel area and various places along the insole. Overall im happy but ive had my pair for two months and theres already holes forming at the heel. In another month or so they will have to be replaced and i likely wont buy these again

I wear these all day at work, five days a week and they are very comfortable. They slip on and off easily when I have to go into a customers house. I was concerned they would be too hot in the summer but they are comfortable in both warm and cold weather. Update: someone asked how high these are so I posted a photo. To the top of the boot is 7" and to the top of the rubber waterproof part of the boot is 3-1/2".
