Ok so I bought these for England in size 10 M (I didnt know the difference between M and Bm) and I thought they would be perfect. I put them on and immediately they started to rub my left pinkie toe a lot and the right pinkie a little. Ive been trying to break them in by wearing 2 pairs of socks, which make them comfy. They have been stretching slowly but I dont have much time left. I tried "freezing" hack but I would have to do it again. Im just going to take them to the shoes repair to stretch them. There isnt a lot of arch support and I fear that if I buy insoles, they will squeeze my feet even more. You cant wear them without socks or else your sweating feet will cause the insole to slide out when you take them off. The elastic isnt water proof so dont go jumping to deep in puddles. I have to wear longer/higher socks because the opening kinda is rough and scratchy. I had dogs scratch into them and the scratches pretty much wipe off. If you fear your toes will be smooshed wear thick socks or size up. They are pretty nice shoes and very popular. I am 5"9 and rolled up jeans look fine with these. They are kinda of hot with two socks in florida spring time. UPDATE: After two weeks of wearing them straight in England, I can finally give an honest review. Before I said that I would have to wear two pairs of socks. So I bought some ankle black socks and some thin hosiery socks and I wear them. It is so comfortable. Everyday we walked 3-6 mile and my feet felt great. Body hurt. But feet were fine. But I did put in some cheap gel insoles I bought from Walmart for $5. If I wear one pair of socks I still feel my toe rubbing. So two is fine.

On other sites it suggests for half sizers sizing up if you have a wide foot or sizing down if you have a normal-narrow foot. Id definitely agree. Im a solid 7.5 with normal to ever so slightly narrow width. Depending on the shoe I can size up or down (more often up to 8) so I got the 7 and 8. The 7s were on the snug side (with standard sock) but not uncomfortably so. The 8s were loose enough that trying to walk in them my heel kept slipping up and/or my toe slipped forward,which made them feel clunky. Given the rubber material, I decided to go on the snug side to avoid rubbing. Ive now walked done a fair bit of walking in them in the rain and they worked great and were quite comfortable.

UPDATE: These started falling apart after 2 weeks. I wore them about 8x and now the blue, rubber part is breaking away from the stretchy black part. So disappointing. ORIGINAL: I love these. They are waterproof but are also chic enough to wear during work (I work at a law firm). I normally wear a size 7.5 so I bought an 8. Its roomy but Ill be able to wear thick socks when its colder. Im also used to rain boots being a bit too large. I have been able to ride my bike in the rain without any issues. They slip on and off very easily.

I purchased a size 6, (my normal size) and it fit very well. Seattleites try to ignore the rain as much as possible, so much that umbrellas signify that youre a tourist. I moved to the area and wanted to blend in as much as possible, so I gave these a shot. Its only fall (the start of the rainy season) and I wear these at least twice a week. I bought the shiny olive, but Im probably going to get them in matte black as well. I have issues with tall rain boots for some reason. Theyre not comfortable and they stick out. Its not fun having a foot of plastic up your leg! These mostly circumvent that problem, but still have a little rigidity in the upper ankle. I wish they were even lower cut so I could roll my jeans and show off my ankles a bit. However, theyre still great, and I get compliments on them all the time. Im picky when it comes to boots... I think I tried on every pair at the mall and hated all but one. Most of them make my tiny feet look huge, and stick out way too much. I love the pointed toe (I have sensitive feet, flat footed and really like Birkenstocks for their rigidity, flats and most heels are a no-go for me) and these dont cause any issues. Theres no arch support, but if you have inserts like me, they would probably fit well.

I dont know if my boots were defective but when I wore them for the first time, water went inside and my socks was wet around the toes. I sensed dampness but I disregarded it because I didnt think my new boots was a cause for this. But, Im very disappointed with this product and wasted my money. Please dont bother with this product if youre in the market looking for rain boots. They just look good thats all. But you will most likely end up with soggy socks and regret.
