Awesome boots! They are the clear gel material and the pattern is actually a fabric. My daughter had a similar pair, and they lasted her years where as regular style rubber boots always ended up cracking. I also have gotten lots of compliments! Fellow crazy chicken ladies are always asking about my chicken boots. The one down side is that the calf is a little too small, But i have thick calfs. Order a size up as well. Im usually a 9, I ordered a 10.

I rarely leave reviews but this was worth it!!....LOVE, LOVE LOVE these!!! So comfortable with a soft, cushiony inner sole!! Top rims are covered in a soft fabric that doesnt chaff your calves! Nice thick yellow material and outer sole, looks like itll last for quite a while.....and very cute chicken print!!!!...Ill be buying the red pair of these also!!

I am in love. I wasn’t sure I’d find a boot that was waterproof and comfortable to take fairly long walks with my dogs in. I found them here! I have large calves (17 inches around,) and I can still fit my finger around the edge as these hit just below the larger part of the calf. So no rubbing or tight problems. They are waterproof but not too heavy. They are non slip and very cute. I have average width feet. I am an 8 and ordered an 8. But, if you have wider feet, I’d order a size or 1/2 size up. They are tighter around the instep curve of the foot. These aren’t a problem for me, as I have average width. I going to order a pair for my daughter who lives in Chicago.

Oh my, these are great! I was so glad to get size 11 in a cute pattern like these chickens. I like to wear thick socks and in these, there is plenty of room for socks and toes. These rain boots are made well with a sturdy sole that rinses right off. I chose the egg yolk yellow because they are easier to see in dawn or dusk light, but I did like the "Barn Red" pattern, too. Theyre are light weight, and the top is wide enough to stuff pant cuffs in. I am very pleased.

As a flower farmer in the northeast, the need for waterproof footwear is ever present. Spring through fall, in particular, requires daily use of a waterproof boot to keep feet dry in early morning dew, seasonal rains, and SLOGGING through garden plots to harvest. Many boots in years past have not even made it through one season. Some have been like suction cups to get off sweaty feet, others fit weird in the foot bed or were too tight for my ample calves. In short, I pretty much buy a new pair every season because the previous pair is unsatisfactory for one reason or another. Not only is the USA made feature a big plus, but also the choice of pattern from plain to playful to stylish lets the wearer express herself without sacrificing comfort. These are still in their first season so I cant speak to their durability yet. Even much heavier rubber boots (which I thought would wear like iron) havent survived my farm because they get brittle and split in stress areas, like where the ball of the foot flexes. Because these boots are soft, flexible, and lightweight, I can wear them all day if need be, without regrets. I am very particular about footwear and consider myself the Imelda Marcos of farmlife footwear (not only do I own a lot of shoes, I really put them to the test as well), so to have a pair of boots like these Sloggers that I can only say good things about so far, is saying something for this product and the company that produces them.
