I’ve worn this style of classic Keds since middle school and in more recent years I have noticed that sizing down (something I rarely ever do at a wide 8.5/9 foot size) makes for the ideal fit of these cute sneakers. Got the leather for the first time hoping they’ll dirty up less than the white canvas! Only complaint is the box came entirely smooshed in mailing. I mean, completely smashed and disassembled. But luckily the shoes were fine!

Im not much into sneakers of any type but I really like the look of these. Comfortable without being too "old" and I could wear these with skirts and skinny jeans, but you will definitely need low-cut/no-show socks. The leather seems flexible and I think it will mold to my feet easily the more I wear them. I did see some reviews that they fall apart quickly so Ill reserve my final judgement and update my review once theyve been worn more.

I usually wear an 8. Since I have a wide toe, thick arch area and narrow heel, finding the proper fit can be a problem. I ordered these in 8 C/D. They feel great in the length and toe area, but are too wide in the heel and my foot was slipping significantly even while wearing a sock. I re-laced them using a technique for a heel slipping (you can find diagrams & videos on the internet for all types of lacing remedies). Now they fit fine and my only concern is the "leather" material. The description online and the box clearly state these shoes are leather, but there is no mention of leather on the shoe itself. They are definitely not made from the grade of leather that Keds used years ago. I hope these will last.

I bought a pair of these exact shoes (not from Amazon) in June of 2015 and they lasted over a year. I bought these shoes and in 5 weeks, they are already falling apart! Beware. Update: I returned the shoes to the manufacturer and the replaced them. The replacement is living up to my expectations.

I like Keds because they are less bulky than traditional sneakers and they provide a more feminine casual look. I generally prefer either sandals or something with a heel, so I didnt expect to wear these much. So far though, I am ecstatic. I had two hiking trips planned this past weekend and these Keds saved me from being a bloody mess at the end. I bought some hiking sneakers and wore them on the first hiking trip, two days ago. They continuously rubbed on the backs of my heels and caused a lot of pain and blisters. I was dreading wearing them for my second trip, so I wore these instead. They were cheap so I didnt really care if they got ruined or torn; I actually expected that and didnt go easy on them. I was surprised to see that they held up great and all I really had to do at the end of the day is clean a little dirt off. Not only are the shoes in great shape but my feet also feel awesome (no pain)! Granted, the bottoms of the shoes were not exactly great for gripping rocks and leaf-covered trails, but I expected that. Im just happy my ankles (and my Keds) arent torn up.
