---If this review helped you, please click "helpful"--- Eh, its just OK. I will probably keep it but Im not in love with it. It will be fine for just running around to the store but for my main athletic shoe, Ill stick to my Asics Get Kayano 25. For starters, this shoe runs incredibly wide. I wear medium widths but my foot does tend to be more narrow. This usually isnt an issue with any shoe that laces because I can tighten the laces. On this shoe, the toe box beyond where the laces stop is super wide. I am all for being able to wiggle my toes but this is a ton of room and the length is fine. This shoe also does not have very much padding or arch support. Luckily, I have multiple orthotics to stick in there. For the price, Ill keep it and stick an extra orthotic in there for support. If I wouldnt have gotten it for less than $40, I would be returning it. The general rule of thumb with New Balance shoes is that the lower the number, the lower the quality. So, the 680s (which are some of the lowest numbers NB sells), are going to be a lot less in quality than the 1540s. They rolled my foot in toward the middle and were way small! I tried on in the store and was surprised how small they were when arrived. :(

The shoes fit fine, but the support from the insole was not good. This is the second purchase of New Balance in the last two years that I have not been happy with. In years past I had several pairs of New Balance shoes that were so comfortable. Im not sure if the idea now is that individuals are expected to buy their own insoles. That is what I did. I bought comfortable insoles and now the shoes are okay. I bought the shoes when Amazon was having a daily discount. I would have returned the shoes if I had bought them at the current higher price. Come on New Balance; I expect better.

so I bought these they came up on my Amazon feed I thought they were the same new balance that I had already bought they look the same but are much different and not near as comfortable as my 1080 which were twice the price. I was trying to get a deal jokes on me. Now I am trying to sell a pair of look alike for $50 and I paid $79. I wear a 6W so hard to find someone who can fit them.
