I have had MANY different athletic shoes but I always had cramping in my feet and toes. Then a trainer at my gym mentioned that it looked as if I had over pronation in my feet. He suggested looking into seeing a podiatrist and possibly getting orthotics for my shoes. In the meantime, I went on the Internet and researched the best shoes for overpronation and theses Pumas were in the top 10. I chose these because the price was right and they looked cute. I normally I wear a nine so that’s what I ordered but they are about a half a size larger than what I would like but since I’ve been wearing them I have not had the cramping in my feet that usually occurs during all exercises so hopefully this continues.

Better than I expected. They are a great looking pair of shoes. I have such a hard time finding shoes that fit my feet. I have small feet with a narrow heel. These Pumas are perfect. They also help me get threw a work day without heel pain.

Not only are they very stylish, they are so comfortable too! I have to say, there was about a week and a half break in period of working out in them 6 days a week/for about 40-45 minutes though. I started the Insanity workout program and about 1 week in, my feet were hurting with the walking shoes I was wearing to workout in. I did a bit of researching and decided that cross trainers were the way to go. I found these and liked the look and they seemed to have good reviews. I followed others suggestions and ordered a half size larger (I wear womens 9, ordered 9.5) and they fit great. The breaking in issue.....the top of the shoe/rim that runs along the inside ankle is what was bothering me during intense cardio interval training workouts. It was stiff just because they are brand new so I knew I just needed to break them in. I wore thicker socks and folded them down several times and had the big folded part of sock cushion rest between my ankle and the rim of the shoe in that area. It worked out perfectly..no more painful stiff shoe digging into my ankle. Ive been doing the Insanity program (with these shoes) for 5 weeks now and they dont hurt my feet at all. I wear ankle socks now and no painful stiffness from the shoe. I had to roll the socks down as cushion for the first week/week and a half and they were fine after that. These shoes are so comfortable and I have no sore feet in them at all. I absolutely love love love these shoes!

I saw quite a few reviews of this product that said they run a half size too small. They are, in fact, a snug fit — but I didnt feel they were actually sized wrong, just differently. Ive been a 9 all my adult life. I have high arches and narrow heels and did have a bout of plantar fasciitis after my son was born three years ago — its made me seek out shoes with different support, such as FitFlops. This all being said, I was struggling with training shoes for my strength and cardio sessions at my gym. I was finding that foot cramps were common with mountain climbers and similar exercises, my shoes were becoming loose or actually sliding off, and in anything like step-ups, I wasnt grounded. My trainer said I also didnt put much weight on my heels. These Puma Tazon cross trainers made a huge difference right from the start. I feel my feet are squarely on the floor in any exercise, the somewhat stiffer support makes me feel supported, and Ive noticed that Im able to put a better distribution of weight on my heel. Id had Nike and Asics cross-trainers, but these Pumas feel noticeably better.

Shoes are so cute & so comfy.. after reading all the reviews saying the shoe runs small, I ordered a size up. I wish I hadnt because now they are a little big, I can still wear them and be comfortable but they do run true to size.
