When purchasing this shoe, I was looking for something sleek, yet comfortable, to withstand a lot of walking on my vacation. The design is adorable, 10/10. It did run small as the other reviews mentioned. Im normally an 8, so I got an 8.5. I could have maybe done a 9. When I first tried them on, I thought the bottoms felt rather thin, as if there wasnt enough structure to the shoe. After wearing them for dozens of miles of walking on my vacation, I can conclude that while they support the arch of the foot well, they dont do much for the ball or heel of the foot. A couple of times during the end of the day, if I found myself standing in a line, I would realize how sore the balls and heels of my feet were due to having little cushion for all that walking. At the end of the day, they are cute shoes that run a little small, but I would recommend them for light walking, not intensive all-day walking.

Love these shoes! I wear them for traveling. Highly recommend ordering a 1/2 size up. I own a pair of 8.5 in a different brand (Madden Girl) and I ordered a 9 in the Roxy shoes and both fit the same (see pic).

Really nice material.. Ordered the light gray sneakers/size 7 for my daughter..(11 yrs old).. But they were too small. She has a wide foot.. However..by the looks of them.. I think they have a stretchability..and some give. I believe that because shoe is made of a cotton thick sweathirty looking material. But she said "too small". That is my review. Oh..She also said the shoe made her "foot look weird".. I didnt think so. Anyhow..I dont like sneaker reviews. They are sooo mixed. I begin to wonder if the stitching on any given pair of shoe varies? I understand a brand of shoe will run larger and another brand smaller. However, when you have your specific foot measurement..and you go by the fitting chart for the particular brand..and you get the sneaker..yet still not fitting? That leads me to think with soo many mixed reviews...The shoes may not be accurately sewn at manufacturing place? I have purchased 7 different brands/pairs of sneakers from Amazon. I have had luck a few times. The cheaper slip on sneakers(under 25.00)..have been good for both my daughter and myself.. It is really hard to find a wide "specification". Even when I type in "womens wide sized sneakers". I dont see specially categorized sneakers for "wide foot". What shows up, (Amazon prime filter).. A few ugly choices.. Or theyll say "plus sized".

THESE RUN SMALL. Very glad I listened to the other reviewers and went a full size up. Im usually in the ballpark of a size 9/10 and go with a 10 to make sure I have enough room. These I ordered in an 11 (!) and so glad I did or theres no way I would have been comfortable. A 10 may have still fit, but it would have been a very tight squeeze. As others said, there really isnt any support; soles are like wearing flip-flops. Personally, I find that comfortable but others looking for a more cushioned sneaker might be disappointed. Other than that... Super cute, very comfortable, slips on easily with no socks or thin socks. With thicker socks, its a more difficult fit. Going to wear these around for a few weeks and if they hold up buy another pair or two!

My daughter originally bought the light gray Roxy shoes at our local mall and she loves them so much I decided to buy her the black pair for Christmas. I have washed the shoes at least three times and they have held up perfectly. They do have memory foam in the souls so they take a long time to dry. I placed them in front of a portable heater to dry them quickly. They have very nice terry cloth lining the insides (as shown in photo). The bottoms of the black pair have a cute Hawaiian print. She doesn’t have issues with these slipping off her feet but she isn’t running in them either. They look great with skinny jeans. I think they do run small since she has to get a size 8 even tho she definitely is much smaller than that size.
