I made the mistake of trying a pair of New Balance shoes after my last pair of Skechers retired; Skechers, I promise Ill never do it again. New Balance is supposed to be "higher end" and those shoes didnt last 6 months of minimal use (less an hour a week) which was 1/6 of the lifetime of my shape ups, yes my last pair lasted THREE YEARS and the NB lasted less than six months... So this pair of shoes arrived today. My size was the same after over 3 1/2 years of having purchased my last Skechers shoe. I put them on and my feet felt like they were on a cloud. I wanted to go for a walk just because these shoes are just that comfortable, Im not an outdoors or athletic type person. Id rather be watching TV, listening to music, or reading a book, so that may give you an idea of how much I love these shoes. I did wear them out in the backyard as I pulled some weeds, I did not wear them with socks. I think Ill end up needing to pick up some of those minimal socks just because Im so used to having them on. OH! So another thing that may tell you about the comfort of these shoes. I have a SEVERE blister on my left pinkie toe, it cause my toe to swell to almost 2x its normal size. Wearing socks right now hurt but me putting on this shoe caused NO pain at all. Honestly I want another pair to use as house shoes, and a backup pair. I dont need them, but I want them!

This shoe is perfect as long as I dont wear socks. I wear size 11 in everything and they always fit; this was a snug size 11 and I ended up with a small watter blister on the side of my big toe, knuckle joint in a few minutes but within an hour they fit fine just took some walking around in them. To me it looks great, I thought it was attractive in the picture and I was just as happy with it in person. Just got back from an hour walk and ugh they are causing pain, in the right shoe only (that foot is bigger) where the side material meets the bottom of the shoe so its like Im walking on a seam. Also the collar of the shoe is tight especially on my left foot which is smaller than my right foot. My feet are not particularly wide so this is a warning to those who order this shoe wear it a lot indoors if you arent quite sure about the fit before you go outside and cant return it like me. I finally had to return these. It wasnt worth the blister that formed on the top of my left foot where the collar of the shoe is too tight.

The Go 3 has more padding on the inside of the sole as well as on the bottom of the shoe and inside the heel; the foot "sits" a little higher as a result than it does in the older Go 2 version. Its not a bad redesign, just different. The padding offers more support and was comfortable out of the box for a 5-mile walk.

Perhaps my wife would be better suited to give her impressions, Ill do my best to summarize her thoughts shared with me since they were my surprise to her. To put it bluntly: she cant stop smiling. She works in retail and walks on polished concrete all day so having a very comfortable while excellent looking shoe is vital. Skechers Shape Ups kept her attention for a time, but for the amount of walking she does daily, they were not ideal in both the short & long run. Ultimately, she found Skechers with Memory Foam and showed me several colors she liked, but I could not remember any one of them. So I found these here on Amazon, I called upon the opinion of another lady to gauge if my eyes were choosing wisely. It was confirmed and my wife was & is surely delighted. They are easy on, easy off, with proper cushioning and flexibility with every stride. Cant keep her sexy intact with her sporting Caveman Feet. Nope. Ladies, dont simply budget for your manicure because your feet may be covered most of the time. And I do take my own advice. ;`) No diggity. No doubt.

I wasnt sure if I was going to like these, Im so used to wearing regular sneakers, laces, all that. I put these on & it was like walking on pillows. They are so comfy. The pink soles on the bottom provide extra cushion, the memory foam on the insoles make wearing these so great. I normally wear an 8.5, I got a size 9. Reason being I have wide feet & these didnt come in wide. They fit perfectly. I will purchase more Go Walk sneakers from Skechers, they are so comfortable.
