even though I selected the correct size according to the chart..the shoe was way too large.. great looking shoe however. This is the last time I will purchase shoes online as I have not found one that fits..so please do not look on my 1 star rating, I had to select something or the review would not be submitted. The shoe looks very well made and is a very substantial shoe..just not for me this time.

Im usually a size 6.5 but ordered a 6 since a lot of reviews suggested that. The shoes arrived fine and are really cute but extremely uncomfortable. The length of my shoe size is fine what is large is the ankle and surrounding area. That makes it so uncomfortable when walking. I tried using thick socks but it didnt help. Im sad I have to return them.

I agree with earlier reviews that half a size smaller than one would ordinarily order is on par. I started out with size 7, returned for a 6 because my feet were swimming in them, the size 6 were unbearably tight, and finally ended up with a loose pair at 6.5, then buying heel inserts to combat the slipping heel. Roomy in toe area so making sure ties are snug did the job. I think that the confusion of European vs. US male and US female is hard to navigate. I do like these a lot but took much complication to get there, especially at the price one has to pay. They are not cheap. The size 6 seller was extremely difficult to work with and FINALLY picked up the return package after a month and getting Amazon involved. This is why three stars. Amazon customer service was apologetic and very helpful. Now I can finally wear them and have fun!

These shoes are incredibly cute! I was concerned about so many people having issues with sizing and being very uncomfortable. I have found the solution guys; Gel heel inserts!! I’m normally a size 7 and only went down half a size with theses (6.5 = 37) they seemed okay but still slightly roomy. On top of that I felt how stiff and flat they made my feet feel. The perfect solution is to get a gel arch insole. This way it takes up that little roomy feel you have at the back and are instantly more comfy! I think if I went down a full size I wouldn’t have had room for gel heel insoles and I’m telling you, you NEED foot support inserts for these babies, otherwise you are going to be uncomfortable. So in conclusion, go down only a half a size, leaving room for heel support inserts or full arch and heel supports insoles. Enjoy!

I have had tendinitis in both feet so I am very picky about shoes. I admit I bought these because of how they look and not the comfort factor. These shoes were the most uncomfortable tennis shoes I have ever broken in..I had to use band aids on the top of my foot because they rubbed up against my skin so bad. I almost donated them, BUT, they are so darn cute I pressed on and carried band aids in my purse. I am so glad I did because now my supergas are the most comfortable shoes I own!!! I urge you to give these shoes a break in period before you judge them! The sole is so thick that they need time to get a little flexibility..but these shoes will perfectly conform to your foot...like a great pair of jeans, and youll never want to take them off. Over the last few years, my husband and I will go the the amusement park for a few hours and I always end up in excruciating foot pain and can barely walk back to the car!! We went to the park a few days ago and I wore my Supergas. After 3 hours of straight walking my feet felt fantastic!!! Going to order 2 more pair!! Ladies, before you return these, break them in...its a painful process but well worth it in the end!! BTW, I usually wear a 6 1/2-7 in tennis shoes and I ordered the 36/6 and they are perfect. I also have a wide foot and there is plenty of room in the footbed.
