Im a long time fan of Toms, but Ive only ever worn Toms Classics. I purchased these because I needed a nicer pair of sneaker style shoes for travel. Im a very consistent 8.5 size wise, thats what I wear in Classics so thats what I ordered these in. A few reviews commented that the Del Rays dont stretch like the Classics do, which so far seems accurate (Ive had these for five days).They seem to be made out of slightly thicker canvas so I dont think theyll stretch as much as Classics do, but Id be surprised if they dont stretch at least a little over time. Most fabric shoes do with enough time in my experience. I still went with the 8.5 despite this though because my Classics stretched (over the course of a year or so) to a point where theyre quite lose (though not uncomfortably so). I figured even without the stretch I should be fine with my usual size. That being said, the 8.5 Del Reys fit well for me. They are a tad snug, but not uncomfortable. I havent done any long term walking in them yet, but they wore comfortably through the grocery store yesterday. Length wise theyre exactly perfect and I appreciate the slight arch support they have as my left arch tends to fall. I dont have wide or narrow feet so the width is good for me also. Id say if dont have wide feet and you own Classics that are still fairly snug after a good amount of wear, youll probably need to go a half size up in the Del Reys. Im very happy with this purchase and will definitely be buying this style in the future.

These shoes are super cute and light. Ive been wearing them every day. I would consider them fashion sneakers but maybe thats just me, there definitely is no reason not to use them as workout shoes. I walk 10k a day and these hold up. I didnt even have to wear them in- no blisters. Word of warning to us with wider feet, these fit a little snug around the top for a day or two.

I have four pairs of these Del Rey’s. I love them. I bought my normal size nine and these feel a little short. I figured being linen they would stretch out some with wear- So took them on a cruise and wore them all week. They didn’t stretch out like I hoped. Obviously I’m keeping them, but I wish they were just a tiny bit bigger. This isn’t the first time Toms hasnt been consistent with sizing in my book, but I’ve come to learn that most of the time it’s the fabric used and the shoe does stretch - this hasn’t happened this time so I just won’t wear them for long days on my feet.

These are my new favorite walking shoes. I took them with me on a European vacation where we walked on average 9 miles a day, and they were SO comfortable. They combine the comfort of a TOMS shoes with a more durable feature of a walking shoe.

Love these things! So comfortable and they fit perfect! These are my new daily wear shoes after my last pair of Toms flats wore out! (2 years daily use will do that) I have no complaints and love these!
