This review is for anyone who, like me, relies on LifeStride for wearable, mostly comfortable high heel shoes to spend 5/7 days in; but mostly for those of us who love LifeStride because they sell wide width shoes. My experience with LifeStride has been hit or miss with the wide shoes actually being wide, so I was excited to see 2W as a size. Unfortunately for me the 2W is really more like a half size bigger in length and a full size bigger in width. I was just looking for something that was a tiny bit wider, but this shoe is much, much larger and longer. Maybe it would have worked if I went a half size down and did 2W, but I worry that even that wouldnt be consistent on measurement. These have to be returned for me, BUT, oh how I wish I had these available when I was pregnant--I think the width would have done wonders for my poor swollen feet at that point. Also, these seemed to be missing the normal LifeStride cushioning, even for shoes of the same model--I almost thought they were knockoffs because of the differences between them and 1W shoes of the same brand.

I usually wear size 7.5 wide. They were too small in this brand, especially across the width of my foot, but also a bit in length. I figured if I got the WWs that would solve the issue. Too big... the 7.5 WW ended up with a huge space left over in the heel and flopped right off my feet when I walked. So... on to the 7 WW. Perfect!!! I would suggest considering sizing down but wider than your normal size. The taupe color is perfect for me too!

These are super cute denim pumps that go with everything from jeans to dresses. They felt so good, even after a long day at work, I did the cha cha all the way to my car. Workmates saw me and called mental health services and I was able to outrun them and jump and fence in these fabulous magic shoes.

The first time I ordered this shoe, it came in the wrong color. However, I just ordered another, got the first order refunded, and all was well- pretty simple. When the product came, I was at first skeptical (I have wide feet and usually do try-ons before purchasing), however was pleasantly surprised. The toe does not squeeze my feet at all, and the sides and heel are nice and snug. The color is lighter than I expected, but not too much to make a considerable difference. The lining feels padded and silky- a pleasant surprise! However, my feet hurt in it after a few hours of continuous walking. For non-continuous, or small amounts of walking this is just fine. Overall: If you are NOT going to be walking continuously, for hours upon end, this shoe will do you good- especially if you have wide feet. The sizing was perfect, and the color was lighter than expected. The return process (if need be) is also very straightforward.
