Just received these and cannot attest to durability. However, as far as fit, I consistently wear a regular ol 10B (M) in just about every shoe brand. In this one, based on reviews that it runs narrow, I ordered a 10C/D (Wide) and it fit perfect in the toe box and sides, with no heel gap or other issue. Once Ive had time to wear these a bit, Ill return to either up or down the str rating, but at this point Im happy with my navy pumps.

I have several Soft Style shoes and I love them. They fit great. I really like this shoe and am very disappointed. This 10M patent pair is too small and doesnt have the ridged sole so they are slippery as other reviewers have mentioned. I will return them and have ordered a larger size. Hopefully they will fit and I can try to deal with the sole. I received the size 11M and they fit like my size 10M usually does. Wondering if these shoes are manufactured in China because their shoes seem to be sized smaller than those made in the USA, I have put Petals sole grips on the sole and they seem to be doing the job. Ordered an 11M in brown and have applied sole grips. They fit fine.

They are lovely-looking shoes, but I ordered 8.5 E, and they are NOT extra wide in the least. I am very, very disappointed, and am sending them back. If you have a narrow foot, these will work well, but be aware the C/D and E sizes are not what youd expect. Dont buy if youre looking for a wide toe box.

This is the second time I am ordering these. First I ordered 8.5 which was too long. Then I ordered 8w still long. Pic attached mecwewring 8w. (looks like they both are about same length) . My shoes size usually is 8w or 8.5. Wish I had read previous reviews! Many people mentioned sizing issue. I will order 7.5 w and will update review. Ok I received the 7.5 W. Its still long! But not as much as 8W.Its somewhere between 7.5 and 8. So I am keeping it. I will buy some heel snugs and try to manage. Another issue I noticed now that I wore it once is that there is no padding at the ball of foot. Unless you are walking in carpet, your foot is going to hurt.

Im not a shoe person. In fact, this is the first new pair of shoes Ive bought in three years. Im happy with them. I dont like getting fancy - I dont need bows, sequins, decorative stitching, funky holes, weird-looking layers, buttons, or any other junk on my shoes. I cant wear high heels; Im on my feet all day and need something comfortable but professional-looking. I need a wide width, which can be hard to find at reasonable prices. These shoes fit the bill pretty well. I wasnt certain of the size, and it turned out 9.5 was just too small. I reordered in 11 and they were just a bit too large, which I quickly remedied with some heel inserts. Now theyre still on the large side but I can live with them. I do have two problems with these shoes. I wish they came in a 10.5, as I suspect thats my real size. But the real problem: I wish shoe companies would stop making womens dress shoes that have zero traction. Seriously, the soles on these things are as smooth as a granite countertop and I damn near broke my ankle slipping on carpet when I tried them on. Im going to have to buy anti-slip pads to adhere to the underside so I dont end up in the hospital. I like the shoes enough that Ill do so, but really, I shouldnt have to purchase additional accessories to make a pair of shoes safe on everyday surfaces. Its not like Im taking them ice fishing or something.
