Toms Women's Del Rey Sneaker

ETA. Just wanted to come back and say I’ve broken them in a bit and the shoes feel much better. Less rubbing :) I read previous reviews that said these run small so I ordered a half size up. Ive only worn them once so still need to break them in. They rubbed against my heels a bit. The shoe is light and I think a good height. I love the look of the shoes but I docked a star because theyre not really comfortable (I hope that changes once broken in).

I bought the Del Rey sneaker here because Toms appears to have discontinued them, and Ive always wanted a pair. Im a big fan of the classic slip-on shoe and needed a new leisure sneaker. The soles are stiffer and thicker than the slip-on shoes. I also ordered a half-size up to account for wearing socks, and that was a good call. I wore them for the first time walking and running after my kids at an activity museum, and they did not hurt my feet. They are easy to slip on without doing and undoing the laces. I have mild plantar fasciitis, and this didnt aggravate it at all. I would purchase these again if they continue to offer them.

I normally wear a size 6 but I went with suggestions in other reviews and ordered a full size bigger to a 7. At first they fit perfectly but after the loosened up a little bit, they almost were too big so I couldve probably only ordered a half size bigger. They are pretty narrow like others have said too. But I will say they are pretty comfortable and really cute on. I wore these to my brothers wedding and got quite a few compliments.

I LOVE these shoes. They were comfortable straight out of the box, no breaking in required. I’ve worn them for full days of walking with no issues. They can be a bit hot when it’s really warm outside, but even with that, they never smell. Seriously, my new favorite shoe. I have three other pairs of TOMS as well and these live up to the hype.
