I so love the look but after ordering up in size because of no half sizing. Way too large so I thought lets try the smaller size and I tried and slipping. So sad I had to return both pair. FYI I normally wear an 8/12 and the 9 too large and the 8 still slipping off.

The look of this shoe is really classic and chic. I wear US 37.5 and based on the size chart and other reviews, I ordered 38. I’ve worn them twice so far and they’re a bit tight. The first day, I wore them for about 7 hours, and I had blisters in the back of my foot. I let those heal and wore the shoe again, this time for about 3 hours, and half way through, I had to take them off couple of times because they felt tight. It’s cloth material so I’m hoping that they stretch and I don’t want to take them to a shoe repair place to have them stretched afraid that they may get too stretched out and get too loose. I’ll continue wearing them for couple of hours at a time for now. Definitely not shoes that I can put on and run around all day. My feet are narrow, so o can’t blame the tightness on the width of my feet either.

I was so disappointed with this purchase. I ordered two colors and one came in the original Viscata packaging and the other in an oversized non-labelled box and were a little dirty. One was way too small and the other was just a little snug. I was content to keep they snug ones because I know that canvas will stretch, but they made an obnoxious squeaking sound with every step I took. This brand has such fantastic reviews that I was really looking forward to having two versatile pairs of wedges in my wardrobe, but I was so disappointed. I returned both. I may consider buying directly from the Viscata website to see if there is a difference, but it will probably be some time before I do that. I am happy that my experiment was through Amazon and their wonderful Prime service - I may have been stuck with them if I had to pay for the return.

The Viscata Barcelona Roses soft canvas in navy are beautiful and lightweight. However, they are very narrow and I could not find the right size for me. I normally wear US size 8.5 medium to wide width so I ordered the canvas shoe to allow some stretching and I got them in size 8 (Eur 39). They were ok for length, as in my heels were comfortable and didnt slip, but my toes were smashed. I went back and ordered size 9 (Eur 40) and my toes were comfortable but my heels kept slipping. In both shoe sizes, there was not much arch support. Theyre beautiful and might work if you have narrow feet. I had to return mine so I cant review durability.

I see young women in heels and my feet start to ache but I thought I might give these a try. I am US 7.5 and so I bought the size 8 which fit my narrow/shallow feet perfectly. Just remember that these come to a point in the front which gives a discomfort all of its own. I could still run for 3 minutes on a slightly uneven city street without slipping, tripping or discomfort which was miraculous. Very comfortable but wish it had a rounded toe.
