This belt is made of a good stretchy material. it is not that loose lame weakly stretchy stuff I have found in similar inexpensive belts. This stuff has good substantial stretch in it. It holds snug to your waist. It seems very well made. I didnt realize when I purchased that the buckle was black. It is but looks very nice. One thing which surprised me was the size of the buckle , it is a bit larger than the last few belts, of the same width, that I have purchased elsewhere. It is a bit larger than the thickness of the belt, or so it appears. All in all a nice belt.

I got tired of ending up with cheap Chinese knock off leather braid belts. They wear out quick. This belt I have been holding back my review because i wanted to test it for a period of time. Im not the type that throws up a review after owning a product for 2-3 days, i want to truly test its quality. Thus far the belt holding up great, i got it about 2 months ago (as of the review date) used it every single day. its still working like the day i got it. Its got durable elastic to it the braid is tough still hasnt broke or become damaged. The buckle thus far has been very durable I do believe it will last a long time compared to what i had been using in my past. I want to state to people though buy a size bigger remember can be adjusted anywhere so wont hurt anything. Im 42 in my waist but i went with 44-46 was a perfect fit and feel. I have no cons to toss for this review the belt has lived up to what i was hoping it to be. When I ordered it Ive never owned one like this, so i didnt know what to expect, but it far surpasses any leather braided belt Ive ever used in my past. if i ever need another belt be buying this one or one like it. I will recommend it if i ever meet someone that needs a belt to.

I needed to replace a worn out belt and was browsing through countless options on Amazon when I ran across this one. Id never used or even seen anything like this before, but thought Id give it a try. Im very glad I did. I was surprised at first that there were no pre cut holes for the buckle tongue. But after using the belt, it made sense. Just pull the belt through the buckle to you desired tension and just insert the tongue through the webbing of the belt. When you unfasten the belt the webbing just returns to its condition without any holes. I find the belt to be very comfortable to use.

If you are looking for decoration for your mid section, fine, but if you want this belt to actually do waht belts are supposed to do-- HOLE UP YOUR PANTS--this fails the test. Stretches far too much to offer any useful worth. They should use this material for those who like suspenders, but for a belt?... Duh! Keep shopping.

I wear trousers with a 38 in waist so I thought a belt 44 inches long would work out great. I was wrong. It was too small. I gave that one to my son. I then had the intention of ordering another belt a size larger......being a bit dense and 74 I ended up ordering another belt the same size. I did not realize it till I put it on and it was very tight. I then compared the second belt to the first belt and the second belt was an inch and half smaller than the first. I then dug out my paper work and that is when I found out I had order the same size again. (I then went to a clothing store and bought two new belts.....one had a tag 40 and the second had a tag 42 and they were the same length. Moral of this story is I will never buy another belt on line
