Costa Del Mar Brine Sunglasses

As a long time Costa wearer I was shocked how cheaply the frames on these glasses were made. This is my 6th pair of Costas all with the 580 glass. The 580 lenses were great, as always but Costa should be ashamed of putting their name on the glasses with such horribly designed frames. The hinge is simply a C shaped piece of plastic that snaps around a post. Bought them and they broke in less than 2 weeks, one of the C shaped hinge pieces broke off. What were they thinking? They were returned (thank you Amazon). A $10 pair of sunglasses from a drug store are built better. After this experience I have now switched and trying Oakleys, your loss Costa.

I use these for saltwater fishing, sailing, kayaking, etc... open water use. The glass quality is terrific and the light weight is much appreciated. However the frames are a bit small (too narrow). I wish I would have tried them on before buying them but couldnt find this model in my local fishing gear store. They fit ok enough that Ill keep them.

I bought these to take over my $15.00 cheapies I use for work. Nice lenses . But when the sun is shining right at you it is hard to see.maybe bronze lens would be better. The frames are rather big on the face and I seem to see a little fogging up at bottom,but not enough to see while wearing them. If I could do it again I would buy the 480p instead of glass.
