2 extra pockets, one on each thigh. These have ANOTHER pocket between the pocket and the leg you can put your cell phone into. You can get at your cell phone without opening the flap to the pocket. Very nice! Thigh pockets sit flat against the thigh; doesnt have a pleat so doesnt dry all wrinkled like some pairs I used to have.

After wearing dress pants and the blue jeans for over many decades, I got frustrated with not having extra pockets to carry large size mobile phones and other devices along with the usual wallet and keys etc. I have been looking for a pair of pants I can both wear for casual occasions and yet has enough pockets that looks good and comfortable. After trying a few brands, settled on the Wrangles Authentic Cargo pants. Although the material is not denim, it is very comfortable and soft, looks and feels like a casual wear pants with at least 4 extra pockets (2 nested) within easy reach below the side pockets that can hold at least 3 of my mobile gadgets including iPhone7s. This I found to be the ideal casual wear for me. I would have given this a 5 star if the zipper (fly) opening was longer but they skimped on this keeping it short as they can get away with. I have had this only for only 3 months and not sure how well this will hold up through regular use and wash cycles. I usually use my jeans for more than 3 years so hoping this will too.

I really like these pants! The Military Khaki pants are slightly greener than the picture, I think, but still mostly brown in color. The side pockets have a sturdy Velcro (loop and hook) flap closure, and both sides also have an extra pocket that is not covered - wide enough to slip in a cell phone (I have a Pixel 2 android) and deep enough that the phone goes all the way down without sticking out. Of course, it can also slip out if you raise your leg too high, but still very useful. The pants are made well, with no obvious stitching issues that I could see. Sturdy but not heavy. I will note that I like to wear suspenders, and the material is light weight, so is not thick enough to be grasped by all of my suspenders. Belt loops are about 2 inches, and hold my web belt securely. All this, and for less than $25 (for my size and color). I have a pair of convertible (zip-off legs) hiking slacks with cargo pockets made by Columbia, but they cost more than twice as much, for essentially the same rip-stop material. These slacks are roomy and I hope to get a lot of wear out of them. Whats not to love?

I took a chance on these cargo pants because theyre priced low, and was expecting to possibly not be that thrilled with them. But even from the very first time wearing them, Im pretty happy. They fit well and arent either overly stiff or too thin feeling. For a 32" inseam, theres a little extra length to them. Repeated washings might reveal shrinkage, but for now, all is good. I purposefully chose the navy color because I dont like how easily the tan/white/khaki stuff can reveal stains or other markings incurred in the average workday, so thats another way of saying that dark colors arent really what Id normally choose, but Im pretty happy with the navy color, just the same.

I finally found a decent pair a cargo pants that are just right for carrying my Samsung Galaxy S9 phone comfortably. Im normally a jeans person, but jeans just dont work for carrying my phone around. Dont work in the pockets, and Ive tried every conceivable belt-mounted carry pouch; nothing works very well. Cargo pants are the obvious answer, and these in particular are the best cargo pants Ive found for that purpose. In addition, they are well-constructed, look nice (acceptable in all situations where jeans also work), and are very reasonably priced. My only complaint: I need an inseam of 31"; these come in 30" and 32." Every brand of pant fits differently and thats the disadvantage of buying online; cant try them on before buying. I usually by jeans in 32" because they tend to shrink up closer to 31". I read here that these Wranglers didnt shrink, so I first tried a pair of 30" inseam thinking the rise might be lower on them than jeans, and that would make up the difference (as is my experience with most chino-type pants). As predicted, the Wanglers didnt shrink much with washing but the 30" still seemed a little too short, especially when sitting down (OK, Im an old guy and not into the current fashion in mens pants of skinny fit and short inseams). For me, slightly too long is better than slightly too short. So I returned and replaced them with a pair in 32" inseam. After two wahings, again they didnt shrink up much (maybe a half inch), but Im much happier with how they fit now than the 30" pair. So when choosing a pair of these pants, please keep all that in mind. Otherwise, I love these pants and will be buying more (in 32" inseam, at least until they came in 31").
