Ive had these sneakers now for almost 3 weeks. Im a runner who averages around 50 miles a week. I absolutely loved my pair of Ghost 10s, so I bought the Ghost 11 figuring it would be more of the same. Its a good sneaker, but I feel it fits a little bit looser width wise. Its still a good running sneaker, and I like the added heel cushion on my endurance runs, but I dont feel like it has the same support the Ghost 10 had.

As an Emergency Room Technician I put around 8-12 miles per 12 hour shift on my shoes. Brooks are the only shoe I use after trying multiple other brands. I only wear them during work. I get between 6 to 8 months out of each pair before buying new ones. The “old” pair then become my daily sneakers. These are awesome shoes! A ton of value for the price.

Fit is true to size for me, good toe box room, and soft around the ankle while still feeling locked in. I have used a ton of other major brand running shoes, some have caused random foot and leg pains these are in a different class all together. At almost one hundred miles in my feet and legs are happy, I didn’t know running shoes could be this good. I’m a brooks user for life after wearing these. I have used them on roads, sidewalks, fields, beaches, and light trails no problems at all.

This is my first pair of Brooks I have ever bought. That being said I did a lot of reviews for a good neutral shoe and decided to go with the Ghost 11 (bonus they were in my favorite colors), but these shoes unpackaging was slowly making me upset. Positives The delivery was very quick. The colors are awesome. The shoes seem to be comfortable (no run yet, to cold). Price good for a very solid reviewed shoe. Negatives The shoe box was destroyed (see photo) that was the first thing I noticed and started hoping I didn’t get shoes someone used already. I like to keep the shoe boxes to keep my shoes in this will not happen with this pair of shoes. The shoes were tied up and knotted! Again I was really not hoping for a hand me down pair of shoes spending 128$. They have been worn and you can tell on the heels the shoe was “foot forced” off. Aka someone was to lazy to untie and take off. You can even see the marks on the heels! You can also see the force stress marks in the cushioning on the outside of shoe as in someone already went for a run in them The shoes are a little larger then size 10. All in all the shoes are nice and seem to be what I’m looking for, but I’m very dissatisfied with getting an already used pair of shoes that were just packaged up sent back by someone not checked and then sent to me. I’m hoping I get contacted by Brooks about this situation, cause there hasn’t been many reviews I read with this happening and sure enough I’m one of the few individuals that got the lucky draw. It’s the first of February and I got to get training and running for events coming up. So I’m gonna use my old not so friendly to the knees, shoes. I believe I became a new customer for Brooks, but this is unsatisfactory.

My third pair of these, put 500 miles on the last pair, so it was time to trade em in. Nice light comfortable running shoe. I do mostly pavement these days, but have done a fair amount of running on the fire roads and trails as well. Im in my 60s and I like a more traditional shoe with some padding underfoot. This is a good all-rounder and I have not had any trouble with my legs (knock knock) since changing to the Brooks shoes. They run pretty true to size.
