Seem to be decent shoes. I went a half size large, and theyll be fine as they stretch, but I probably should have gone a full size up to allow for thick socks as the weather cools. I bought these as cheaper trail shoes to use on practice hikes, saving my ultralites for the treks; the tread doesnt look as aggressive as some trail shoes I have, but Im leaving these off the trail until theyre broken in a little so I cant judge yet; they are fine for street use.

Very good value trail shoe in a sharp color and design. I enjoy their shoes even if they are apparently idiots at marketing. I always buy 1/2 up for athletic shoes, so did the same for these and they fit nicely after warming up. Oregon trail tested. Great traction in wet conditions. Not water proof obviously, so beware dreaded streams.

I have worn NB cross training shoes for many years, but I hike on trails in Oregon that can be too muddy and slippery for those shoes. So I ordered these trail running shoes and they fit the bill perfectly! Sizing is always consistent in New Balance shoes (cant say the same for other brands) and my 10 1/2 from the other shoes was perfect for these trail runners. I have worn them right after rain storms in several State Parks and not slipped an inch where other hikers have slid, but even more important, the toe box is generous enough that the shoes do not bind on steep downhills. Love these shoes!

Ordered pair of these and a pair of 560 v7 for my son. Both were size 12 4E, yet the 560 was wider, maybe longer. As a guy with wide feet myself, always been a fan of New Balance. I have run into issues with sizing inconsistency before where the smaller New Balance were made in China. The 4E New Balance shoes made or assembled in the US fit with comfort. I could not find country of manufacture before placing order. Is there a resource to determine country of origin?

I dont have wide feet, but are just wide enough that wearing Reebok or Nike feels overly tight and uncomfortable after awhile, and Ive always appreciated the slightly wider bed of NB. These shoes are true to size and the size 10 shoes I ordered fit my size 10 feet well. The shoe provides great cushioning and support. The material is breathable and my feet dont get overly sweaty if I wear these shoes over the course of the day, and definitely help my feet breath when I wear them out for a run. Although labeled trail shoes, I use them for casual running mostly on sidewalks (and cutting across the occasional yard) and Ive been happy with their performance. They also work well for weekends when running errands and chasing after my kids.
