Upon opening my package, I noticed the box itself looked pretty beaten up and had obviously been that way for a bit because there’s even tape on one corner to hold it together. A beat up box doesn’t mean beaten up shoes, so I opened it to find the shoes and a receipt from Finishline (not where these are shipped or sold from according to amazon). I check out the shoes and while they look clean, I can’t help but feel like I received a used pair of shoes that have seen somebody else’s feet. The receipt itself has somebody else’s address on it, a guy from New York. I’m not sure if I’m willing to kee this since I paid 80 bucks for apparently used shoes...

I have several of the Nike Pegasus shoes and I believe these are fake or possibly mislabeled. They came in a standard brown box (not a Nike box) and they feel very cheap. They don’t look anything like the picture of the color I ordered. I have started the return process.

I am running a marathon in April and I needed new shoes to train and run in. I have always run in Nikes, although lately I havent loved the way they look. I tried a few other brands (Brooks Running, Asics, New Balance) but they didnt feel right to me, so I went back to Nike and settled on the Nike Pegasus 35, thinking it was the best option. I wore them once and they seemed okay, but Ive just put them on for a second time and I cant help but feel that the dips by the ankle are very low. It feels like there isnt a ton of support around my ankle, and it actually feels as though the back of my foot is going to lift up out of the shoe when I run. Its really frustrating. Because it seems so shallow, I doubt you would be able to fit any sort of orthotic insert into this shoe and be able to wear it comfortably. And, because the sides dip low around the ankle, any socks, even ones meant to be "no show" stick out. I also dont love that the tongue of the shoe is super long. It sticks up and hits the top of the front of my ankle when I run. Overall the whole ankle area of this shoe is awkward. Im worried that Im going to develop ankle problems from training in them without stability, but at this point Ive already worn them and cant afford a second pair.

These are seriously awesome workout shoes. I’m not running any marathons but I’m definitely using my new Nikes for more than strolling in the grocery. (I run/walk for 2-3 miles, 3x week on sidewalk & asphalt.) Not only are they super-fashionable, Pegasus Air Zoom 34 are super-light too! They don’t feel flat as so many “athletic” shoes do lately. These kicks provide some cushion AND pep in your step! My ONE gripe: the shoelaces are sub-standard. They repeatedly came untied so I resorted to double knotting them. You’d think with all the testing that goes into producing a Nike shoe, the laces would come under review at some point. And I DO think, “who signed off on these?” every time I lace-up! But I digress... If you’re in the fence, here’s your nudge! Get these Nikes. They’re super-cute. They are a legitimate workout shoe & worth the $100+ price tag. Aside from the laces.

Didnt read reviews before purchasing so didnt know Nike Runs smaller. But yeah they fit too small ALSO!!!! Before you purchase know that if you return you will get a 20% restocking fee... Something they dont mention.
