I like how Amazon tells you the last time you ordered a specific item. I purchased these back in June 2016. First time I tried Cat shoes and fell in love with them. I was a Timberland Pro Series guy before. I decided its time to replace them now in April 2018. Shoes are still intact but I finally destroyed the laces. Tells you how well these hold up. Could just replace laces but decided to take advantage of my works shoe policy. I switch becase the my old Timberland Pro didnt provide the traction (indoor manufacturing) and the arch location seemed odd. The switch fixed both issues.

They boots are really comfortable all around. The sole is stiff outside yet soft and cushiony on the inside. The ankle support is great. I broke my ankle prior to buying these, and the support was nice to have. Another benefit is the fact that they are good non slip boots. I work in a brewery with water, alcohol, cleaning agents, grain, yeast filled runoff (super slippery) on the floor, and I haven’t slipped once. My problem with the shoes and the reason they don’t get a 5 star is the sole on the front of my left boot is coming apart. For $75 I was hoping it would have lasted longer before breaking down. I haven’t abused them or walked in heavy chemicals (the cleaning agents are basically soap and ethanol). I rinse my boots after every use too. They are still functional but unsure if they’ll last as long as I’d hoped for.

We just bought these 2 weeks ago, my husband wore them for about 4 days when he developed a very painful lump on the ball of his toe. He stopped wearing them for about a week now and its almost completely better. Very disappointed, and wouldnt recommend to anyone!!! *Wanted to add that hes never had this problem with any other boot, thats all he wears is work boots!

This pair of boots was purchased for work and needs to be waterproof. It’s sad that every shoe manufacturer can’t agree on what standard of sizing means. It has been a pet peave of mine that regardless who makes the boot, I still have to try the boots before I get the right size! Standard sizing does not work for any shoe or boot for me anymore. I have to try on the pair regardless who makes it. Suffice it to say, it isn’t Amazon’s fault your size ordered does not fit. It is all about the style of your boots or shoes. No standard sizing is in place. The size you need is all your foot’s actual size and how each this manufacture sizes that style. On average, street shoes are the size they say, mostly, but there are always exceptions. Do yourself a favor. Take advantage of the try before you buy option Amazon offers. It’s worth it if you are uncertain. Had this been offered on this boot, I would have gladly taken them up on it. As for these boots, I had to go up a whole size to get the fit right. Not the end of the world for sure, but I wish I knew how to size these ahead of time. This pair fits so I am very happy. That is really what matters and if they last like the other pair of this same boot, even better!

1 month of daily automotive shop use, what I can say so far: For the price I wasnt expecting too much. At one month of usage though I can say these boots are not the only boots to consider at any price, but they are definitely exceeding my expectations for the price. Pros: Real leather - looks good and smells good Cloth insole - removable! Lightweight - big boots but not too clunky Flexible - suprisingly forgiving for steel toes and thick soles. Not impossible to drive an unfamiliar manual car with these on Grippy - not slip-proof but definitely very resistant. Oil swipes right off after a few steps on clean ground Chunky soles - most likely pretty decent on dirt and dusty unfinished floors Cons: Leather seems "unfinished" on the exterior, if that is the right word. All I mean is that the leather is very soft and a bit fragile. I already have leather tearing away from the steel toe. I wish I had buffed the leather a bit before wearing them out, as that may have added a few months of life to them. If possible I will update the review for long term use, greater than 6 months. But so far the boots are holding up well and are very comfortable and practical.
