These used to be the best boots. I work construction, im always on metal roofs, these stick nice to roofs.They now only last me 4 months of use. I used to wear them down to the sole for years, but the last 4 pairs The rubber separates from sole and they are junk.I get 4 to 6 months use out of them. Bought this pair in February it is now the end of June..sad..This will be my last pair.

So far so good. I work commercial demolition and I go through boots like no tomorrow. I am constantly walking on rubble concrete, brick, metal, mud, dirt, really anything you can think of. I am always needing to use the steel toe to kick something. Cutting with a demo saw, cutting with oxy acetylene, stick welding, concrete work and a lot more abuse. Just wanted to givce you an idea of the abuse that these boots get daily, and so far they have held up way better than I expected. I ate up the original laces in about 1 week and had to buy better ones but other than that they look alright. The first day I got them they looked amazing, I kept getting compliments about how nice they looked, too nice for work almost lol. As soon as I put them on they fit and felt pretty good. If you buy these I highly highly recommend buying some Dr. Scholls work insoles . So basically what Im trying to say is if you need a good pair of nice work boots that are going to work with you not against you and dont want to spend 3 days pay on a pair of boots, I highly recommend you purchase these boots.

So here is the math. I work in Cruise ship as A butcher. I work 12-13 h A day, every day with no day off. My pedometer says i make about 25 000 steps or 18 km per day. Which says that in one month i walk 540 km in these boots, in cold,wet enviorment and constantly dropping something on my feet. I kick with these shoes, i push , i practicaly use them as my 3rd hand ( check the photo,tips are peeled) and after all this time these shoes did not budge an inch. I am heavy guy, 120 kg, i wear size 14. Trust me, i cant name any other shoes that cant endure this amount of stress. That being said they have down side which is more than important! Dont trust these shoes when ur walking over oily or wet surfaces. Specialy if the ground is steel! They have practicaly no slip protection! I know they write they have... But they dont! Honest review here! U trade extra endurance and commfort for abit of safety. Anyhow.. for this money i dont t think u can find any better.

Out of the box these look really nice. Seams are double and triple stitched. The boots are made with inferior leather though. After just a few weeks of light use, the left toe has split to the composite toe protector. Seriously, theyre not even really broken in yet (theyre just broken). Upon further inspection, the tag sewn to the boot reveals: "Made in China." Other than that, theyre not that comfortable. The composite toe is a little too narrow for my foot which causes blisters without thick socks. Theres not much to the insoles. Probably not going to last for anybody who does real actual work.

They have looked beat up since the first couple uses as the outside wore off around the steel toe on both boots. Since then it has been holding on strong with only the expected wear and tear of framing, roofing, dry-walling, landscaping, and finishing 5 days a week. They recently started rattling as if something metal has come loose, but it does not seem to effect the functionality. Also this week some plastic pieces came apart near the steel toe after I kicked a wall into place, and those fell out when I turned the boot over. Theyre hefty, but nothing most of us cant get used to. I havent needed to use other insoles as I have with many other shoes due to my flat feet. Great traction. Comfortable materials on the ankle (I wear short socks). Sturdy lace hardware though the laces show their age. I will definitely be purchasing these again, though I will try the dark brown ones in hopes the steel toe section does not wear away immediately. Edit: I have purchased these again in the other color/material. They have held up better in the initial 2 months.
